HAHA! My dogs in the past have snored too. I don't think my current one does though. If he does, it is not as noticable as the first two.

I have two dogs and snoring in my house is very loud.
My older dog (22 pounds) is snoring louder than people.
My younger dog is snoring not much often, but loud.
I didn't hear my cat snoring yet, but hope she is not going to learn from my dogs...

My dog snores sometimes and then other times he doesn't. I think it depends on either how deep he's sleeping or what position he's sleeping in. He can get quite loud and sometimes it freaks my husband out because he can't figure out what that noise is. Other times, it's something you can only hear once the TV and the fan is turned off. Maybe it's due to age as well. He is getting older and older and it seems to happen more often.

Hey youless, I grew up having a few different dogs over the years. Some snored
and some did not. One was hunting dog it had to live outside in dogrun. Too much
enery to live indoors but fantastic hunter and retriever. A couple small dogs one of which used to steal undies, keys, small stuff and hide it. A few others all good
pets which led happy lives.
When I moved from home to make my own I got my first cat. I now have 4 cats+the
suprising recent addition of 5 kittens less than 2 weeks ago. Luckily we already
have adoptive parents for all 5 new arrivals, just waiting to wean them from mom.
I have yet to hear a cat snore in my life that doesn't mean it's not possible just
that I have not heard it.

One of my cats is old, and he snores. Another one is part Persian or something that has a sort of mashed in face, and he snores. He also sneezes, sometimes a lot.

Hello dear youless. Though I have a tiny poodle, I have not paid much attention to it when it sleeps as it has its own place outside the door. It seems that it is always awake whenever we open the door to see it.

I had a dog really long ago. I remembered that it did not snore when it slept. But that may be because it's too little. That dog was incidently killed when it was still quite little.

It's not really snoring that my dogs do, but they certainly make allot of noise sometimes. They have really exciting dreams where they twitch and shake and make little yips and barks and growls. It's so funny to watch, and to imagine what they're dreaming about. I guess there's allot of female dogs and bones featuring there LoL

i have a small fox terrior and he is cute. anyway, he is 1 and half years old now and probably he still thinks he is a baby, and when he sleeps, he makes this cute cute sound, i cannot describe it, but when i just had it,he was about 7 weeks old, i slept with it. When i woke him up during his sleep,he made that sound, like...not wanting to get up

Yes my dog snores loud too, I have to actually go over and wake her up and she moves but the problem is she keeps it up just falls back to sleep and snores again.. I don't know of anyway to stop it either, I don't believe there is anyway besides having her sleep else where.. It does get very annoying for sure when your trying to sleep and there is noise I know I can't sleep with lots of it mainly snoring...

Little dogs totally snore. One of our Shih-Tzus snores so freaking loud. And he always insists on sleeping right behind my head in bed. I always have to kick him off, then he gets mad at me.

Strange I only really noticed this last night, but Yes, my dog does snore!
It sounds for all the world like an old man who's had one pint too many and has dozed off in the armchair.
What I don't get about snoring in general (my partner snores) is that it's so loud but it never wakes the person doing the snoring, just the people round them?
Why is that?
