Will you buy the new Wii Fit?

Wii Fit is a new game for the Wii. It doesn't come out until May 21st. It comes with a board you stand on. It has four training modes - Balance Games, Aerobics, Yoga and Strength Training. The balance board offers a body test every day - you can measure your BMI, your body control and your center of balance. I'm interested in this but can't find out how much it's going to cost. I did see a price of $150 in a search engine and also another price of $300 at Amazon from a marketplace seller. I think the $300 price has been exaggerated! Wii games usually go for $50, which I think is pretty high. $150 is going to be too much for an exercise game. What do you think? Will you buy the Wii Fit anyway?

I bought two of them on the same day from Best Buy online. One will me a family Christmas present, the other I am planning to sell on Ebay. I paid $89.99 for mine online. $150.00 is too much!

I actually bought Wii Fit this past summer online at Toys R Us. They had a special offer where they bundled it with the tote and Wii Ski. My kids really wanted Wii Ski so it worked out. I have to say, I absolutely love Wii Fit. I never get bored. My husband refuses to use it but the kids and I have a blast. My daughter and I are especially competitive, we love seeing if we can beat each others scores at the hula hoop and the step aerobics. I've learned new Yoga poses but more importantly, I've learned the correct way to do those poses. I found that without the Wii Fit, it would be extremely easy to do the poses incorrectly. I am so happy with the Wii Fit. I highly recommend it to everyone.

The purpose of video games is to be lazy. I'm either gonna exercise or play video games, not do both at once.

Ouch, that's not really the purpose but I do know what you're saying. With the Wii Fit though, it is possible to exercise and have fun doing it. It really is great. My husband hurt his back and is doing the Wii Fit yoga exercises on it. Better than buying a DVD because the Wii Fit makes sure you do the exercises correctly. All of us have fun because we like to compete and see who can get the highest score.

I kind of have a feeling they may release this game in limited quantities. Thus, in a few years, the prices on e-bay will be ludicrous.

Only for collectors: "in a few years" is a lot of time regarding the development of new ways of playing videogames, specially with Nintendo.

I think I'll wait for the reviews to come in, then wait for a price drop. I actually have enough games as it is, but when I get another Wii game, it'll probably be one of these three: Super Mario Galaxy, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess or the upcoming TNA Impact. It'd be nice if Twilight Princess dropped in price.

Twilight Princess is awesome and Super Mario Galaxy is a lot of fun. Sometimes we can find good used games at our local game store but the more popular ones we have to pay full price!

It's not just a game, it's a "game" plus a board, which theoretically could be used as peripheral to other games, like snowboard ones. I'd say 50-60$ for the game and around 60-75$ for the board would be a regular prize to start with (DDR for Wii was around 60$ but the mat is much more simple, technically speaking, than the board will be).

I wouldn't buy it. I can exercise outside on my own without a game, though I do think it's a really neat idea. The price tag is way too high for me to be interested. Besides, going outside beats staying inside any day. I would just suggest one of my friends buy it so I can go over to their house and play it instead of buying it myself :P

WE will most likely be buying Wii Fit when it comes out. The reason you can't find a price for it yet is because Ninentdo hasn't gave it a price yet. Which is why you can't even pre-order it or find it on any websites yet. Hopefully soon though they'll be giving out the price so we can know. The board is suppose to be able to sense weight shifts front, back, right, and left. Which to me is pretty amazing. Since its coming with the game and board. I have heard though, but who really knows, that its going to be around $95. But we'll have to wait and see offically. hehe

I may get it, I don't know. I'm content with Wii Sports, so there's nothing to sweat about.
