Any particular travel destination in your OWN COUNTRY that you recommed for visitors to stop over? In my country (PHILIPPINES) I would suggest to include in your itinerary the following, I'm sure you will enjoy your stay and could be one of your remarkable travel experiences: 1. Bohol - here you will find the famous "tarsier" the smallest monkey in the world, and of course Chocolate Hills and Bohol Beach Club. 2. Iligan City - If you are a nature lover, Tinago Falls is a must see, Maria Cristina falls is also found in this place. 3. Camiguin Island, Boracay and Puerto Azul are among the most stunning beaches in our country.

Hi longbangod, I'm from Brazil, and the cool cities that you should visit if you come to Brazil are (in my opinion): - João Pessoa: A city in the Northeast Region, in Paraíba State. There are beautiful and good beaches (like the beaches on Caribean Region), good restaurants and some cool places to go at night. - São Paulo: If you like big cities, like New York, London, and others, you should visit São Paulo. Is a huge town, and you have lots of things to do. It's called "the city wich never sleeps" - Porto de Galinhas: This town is localized in Pernambuco State and have good beaches. But you should go because there are a lot of excelent hotels, with many things to do. - Maragogi: In Alagoas States, it looks like Porto de Galinhas - Natal: In Rio Grande do Norte State, looks like João Pessoa, but the beaches are worse a little, and there are excelent hotels. Bad Places to Go: Rio de Janeiro: It was an excelent city, but now is too violent, there are too many "Favelas" and every place is dangerous. The good point is that there are some good beaches Recife: In Pernambuco State. Is the most violent city in Brazil. The city is horrible. And there are some beaches in there, but they have a lot o sharks.

Well ... my country is kind of ... well ... huge! So there are a lot different types of places to visit. To visit America, I would suggest exploring whichever large city you fly into - LA, NYC, DC - then go from there. To get a complete view you should visit the Great Plains, the Rocky Mountains, and the "deep" South. As big cities go, I think Chicago is more interesting than either LA or NYC. I recommend Seattle or San Francisco on the West Coast. Denver in the middle gives you a taste of both the Great Plains and easy access to the breath-taking views of the Rocky Mountains. New Orleans is probably the most unique city in America, but for a true taste of the "deep" South, go a little north to Mississippi. And of course on the East Coast I would pick our capitol city of Washington DC.

You are right, America is a very huge country, and I think the most difficult for people from other countries to visit. The processing takes too much time and the fees is very high. Filipino as I am, to visit or work in the USA is one of my dreams, hopefully I could get the chance soon.. If given the chance I wanted to see Washington DC.

I live in the United States and there are many things to see in the country. Actually far too many to list in one post so I'll limit myself to what is in my state of Florida: Orlando/Kissimmee area: This area has Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea world, Wet and Wild, Ripley's Believe it or Not and a host of other attractions. There is enough there to keep any one busy and of course broke Tampa/St. Petersburg Area: This area has Busch Gardens, Tampa Aquarium, Museum of Science and Industry, Salvador Dali Museum, Hands on Museum, and the Tarpon Sponge Docks to name just some of the things to do here. They also have a port for cruise ships to leave out of. Homosassa Springs/Weeki Watchi: At Homosassa Springs one can see much of the native wild life including Manatees. Weeki Watchi there are two parts, one being Buccaneer bay which is a water park and then the side with the Mermaid show and other wild life shows. There are far more things to see in Florida like the Ringling Brothers Museum, the fort at St. Augustine, Cape Canaveral and NASA, the Everglades, and of course all the beaches.

Thanks for suggesting an itinerary for visitors to your country. I would love to go to the Philippines and do some island hopping and some snorkeling. I would love to see the amazing Chocolate Hills and meet the tiny little monkey. I enjoy seeing stunning waterfalls too. I have heard that Boracay has gorgeous palm fringed beaches. Also Palawan sounds like going there would be a delightful adventure. If someone comes to the UK after seeing London I suggest that they see the quaint town of Rye, the cathedral city of Canterbury and the majestic White Cliffs of Dover. They might like to see ancient Stone Henge, the spar city of Bath, the old city of Chester and the gloriously rural Lake District. It is a small country and it is easy to travel around by train.

Hi there longbangod! I live in the Philippines too. In Aklan to be exact. I would recommend what we have here. I think that there's a lot to see here in Aklan. First, the famous Boracay Islands - If you're into music, and lovely night life then this is the place for you. White sand, clean beach, good food, good music, celebrities, shopping, henna tattoos and lots more are offered here. Second, The Wassenaar Beach Resortin Jawili, Tangalan, Aklan - Now excuse me for promoting my uncle's beach resort but if you get tired of all the noise and partying in Boracay, then you can stay here. It's quiet and peaceful but there are still fun things to do. We also have a swimming pool, videoke machine, and a billiard place. If you're interested, send me a PM so I can send you the link to our website. I'm not sure if we're allowed to post links here and I wouldn't want my post to be deleted. Third, Jawili Falls in Jawili, Tangalan, Aklan- It's near the Wassenaar Beach Resort so you can visit both if you like. Fourth, Basang Cold Springs in Nabas, Aklan- Really cold water here.

You already listed all beautiful places here in the Philippines. But the best place to go here in the Philippines are beaches, like Boracay, Puerto Gallera ang like. I never been to those places but we all know that most of that places have good reviews.
