Men should not take hot and long bathes if they want to have kids. Is that true? It's something related with producing the semen...they need a low temperature environment.

Its not only a hot bath that men should worry about killing the sperms off. Any high temperature can reduce the amount of semen produced, at risk are people who have a job like driving that requires you to stay seated for long periods of time and with your genital area being squashed, the temperature will rise reducing the number of sperms produced.

Hello dear sandybel. That is right. I also got to know this long ago that hot bath, especially a long one does no good to men who want to have babies later on because too hot bath will kill the semen and reduce the semen activity. A mild temperature environment is ok for a man's bath.

yes they should avoid soaking in a hot bath and wear boxer shorts. we struggled with infertility for six years and had our son after he took these steps to increase his fertility.

i have heard the opposit, that men need a cool environment to produce semen and long hot baths do not provide a coll environment. also wearing loose fitting underwear helps too.
