My grandmother will be having her birthday this april 20, 2008. She's going 94 years old...How glad to see my grandmother with this age but still strong and active. It's been a while that i didn't see her. Sometimes we talked thru the phone...I miss her. Hoping her the best of everything..
I remember when i was only seven years old. She taught me how to pray a rosary and read a bible. Every afternoon of the day. She let me to read a one gospel and try me to explained it...I learned it from her. She so spiritual and religious. Very considerate and kind hearted person.
How about you? How old is your grandparents? Some good and wonderful thought about them? What did you learned fromt them?

That's a very long life and I hope your grandma will have a wonderful birthday I am happy to hear that she is still strong and active. She can break the world world record At present I have a grandma and she is about 75 years old. She is very healthy and I think she can live a very long time as her mother, my great grandma lives over 90 years old.

My Grand parents from my Fathers side was the closest. Whenever we went on holidays to kerala, they used to treat us very well. Giving us tendercoconuts, cut juicy ripe mangoes and jack fruits etc. He use to teach us english at that age and was very paricular about the accent we used. He was a very strict person and had very strict timings for each. Play time should not be spent inside, we should play outside with other kids from the locality etc. Was very good with music and poetry. Was a very good person till he left us oneday. Even now I think of him whenever I think of my father both went together just within four days. all the best to you. Atleast you are able to enjoy that warmth which only they can give.

Thats a lovely story...none of my grandparents are still living...but two of themespecially lived to a very good age...and they all managed to keep all of their faculties.
We used to visit both sets of grandparents..but one more than the ohter because they lived closer.
Both sets of grandparents were kind and loving people...they taught us a lot, they always had time for us....we loved to visit them!!

advance happy birthday to your gran! :) so sad i don't have grandparents anymore. you're very lucky to still have her. :)
a couple days ago my friend invited me to his lola's 91st birthday. and she wanted to celebrate in a different way... so they organized a medical-dental mission at the barrio where she spent most of her growing up years with. it's was really a great feeling to be able to help others. i really commend her for her compassionate heart. :)
