Hello there suehan, I think that there are lots of personal hygiene that tends to disgust me but the top 3 would be as follows: These are really that I'm disgusted with a capital D.
1) People "farting" in public and continuously repeating it (oh yes, I've seen those)
2) People smelling of armpits stinking clothes (I really can't stand being near these kinds)
3) People that have an irresponsible trait of "dirtying" restrooms
These are the top 3 that I will not be involved at all.

Hi Zed,
I also cannot stand all these three you have mentioned. In India, there are many peeing in public and I cannot agree with that also. Can't they go to some toilet or rest room which you find onway.
They just stop and get off their vehicles and there ..goes.. They do not feel shy at all. Ijust hate to see them doing that. At some places we just cannot park the car and get out, for the place will be very smelly. How many times one can tell others, they say they are not able to control.. Government should do something about this, maybe build more toilets and restrooms on the thorough ways.

How about all of the above? I don't expect ppl to be perfectly groomed all the time but come on...you can brush your hair, put on clean clothes, bathe and brush your teeth. It's not all that hard. As for the nails, if you don't want to clean them then keep them clean. They are a breeding ground for germs and a health hazard for ppl that don't wash their hands after using the restroom and then handling food.

My one pet dislike and it happened just recently is being in a place where someone has extremely bad body odour where it has made me gag. This was in the supermarket and for some reason we seem to be in the same place each time as I did my shopping. Now for some this can be caused through a health issue maybe, but if this is not the case, how can they themselves live with it? So the most likely would be "body odour"

Bad breath is the one that gets to me the most. There is nothing worse than someone talking to you and their breath just reeks. The dirty fingernails are actually tough to get rid of. I work a very physical, dirty job and shower at least once per day, scrubbing my nails each time and can just never seem to get it all out. It's the curse of the person who does that kind of work

People are funny, some are clean, some dirty, some like to be beautiful and smell good for others and some think that is not important. I would like we discuss if we have not water, soap, deodorants, body milk, products for teeth what we will do?

Hi there. The issues I have with bad hygiene are really when Ive spoken to someone who has bad under arm smells, its just a big put off and theirs no excuse for it, I end up cutting the conversation very short, by telling them to do something about it, because its not nice or fair for others to breathe it in, yes rude I know, but Im entitled to voice my opinion and anyway, I dont really care if they cant handle it and end up disliking me for being real, because after all thats all I know how to be, and people that know me, respect and accept me for just that. Have a great day sue... I cant stand dirty nails full stop.

Actually all the personal bad hygiene problems you listed are already so disgusting And I agree with you that I also hate dirty fingers and this is why I prefer to have short nails. And I can't stand a man who has long nails because I think this is very dirty. When I had a date in the past, I would pay attention to his nails. I am glad that my husband has neat and short nails

Greasy hair is the most revolting thing. I have to wash my hair daily or I feel inhuman. Finger and toe nails can also be gross. I once had to visit a client at his house (I was doing some social worky type stuff). It was the filthiest place that I have ever been to that someone still lived in. The carpet had become so worn that he had turned it over and you walked on the foam rubber underlay. But on his right foot, the nails had curled under his toes and were cutting into the underside. He refused to cut them he said. But then complained that he had difficulty walking!

Working as a cashier I have had the odd people who I have had to serve with bad personal hygiene.
The thing that most annoys me is people with bad odour, whether it be from them or their clothes and also man with long nails!!! Especially when they arent filed to a shape, they just left to grow!!! Yuck!!!
Bad teeth is also a big dsgust, bad breath sometimes is by what they have just eaten buit even still they could have some mints afterwards!
I dont mind the unkept hair or dirty nails if it is dirt from their job.

Yes, for me it's the bad body odour, the bad breath, the dirty hands and nails, dirty toe nails (when they wear sandals and open toe shoes). I find those things disgusting. Unkept hair doesn't bother me much, especially if the person would be always out on the road.

Dirty clothes do repel. But besides that what I do not like is long nails. I see many people do not take care about nails and they just do not trim their nails. Long nails appear disgusting to me.

Most people I've come across in public places have reasonable to good hygiene. They usually don't look unkempt, unsightly or disgusting. What can put me off though is bad breath, and some people can't help but have that because they eat and drink out, and don't happen to gargle their mouth after their meals. So if I come face to face with someone and he/she opens the mouth to speak, and the breath smells bad, I can be put off easily. My wife sometimes says that she smells a lot of coffee from my breath after I've had my cuppa over a meal, so I am not sure if that constitutes bad breath to other people.

All of the above. I hate it when people are dirty and I try to stay as far away from them as I can. It is the smell that bothers me. I hate smelling bad breath especially, on some people. I used to work with a guy that always had breath that I wondered what he ate for breakfast, a bowl of poop. He was an older man, and wore a suit every day to work, he was very professional but his breath would knock a person onto their butts. I would try to not face him directly but I would still smell it and it would almost make me sick every time. And I dealt with him a lot every day, so it was really hard.

I hate body odour. I just cannot stand any odour anywhere. Particularly people who have profuse sweat and do nothing about it.
When you are tarvelling in the train some will smell bad. I am short and while standing near them I get nausea, I try to move away from such people. I like to be hygienic as far as possioble, I cannot say that i am freaky clean but then I don't smell either. I keep myself clean wherever I go.

yes body odour can really get to you,and sometimes i feel like getting my bodyspray out of my handbag and giving them a good squirt with it and giving them a hint.i don't know if this is true or not but apparently you can not smell your own body odour.maybe some-one can answer that for me.cheers sue
