I was just wondering, does everyone love what they do for a living? If not, what would you rather do that would bring you more personal joy and income? I am a Receptionist/Office Assistant. I really do like my job. I enjoy my co-workers, I like what I do. However, I am looking foward to starting my website and womens group. I know these things will bring me personal joy. How about you, please share

I love what I do momma. I don't have to do it for a living anymore, but I love it just the same. I'm one of the fortunate ones, you know that. I do what I want, when I want, with whom I want, how I want and for the most part, don't have to answer to anyone anymore. Even when I did what I did for a living, I loved it. I have always tried to have a job working for myself instead of working for someone else. I found working for myself, was always more rewarding than having someone else tell me how to do something and when. I know having your own business is going to give you the peace of mind you've been looking for, along with the time to spend with your little one.

I am a tech support in one of the call centers here in the Philippines. I have been here for more than 3 years already and I love this job because there is where I started, this work had given me opportunity to grow and earn for myself. I just miss my co-workers who transferred in another account or company. Cheers!

You know 34momma, I do enjoy being home and not having to work but know that I would need to get back into doing something soon. We could do with another income and I have been looking around for a full-time job but it will have to wait until we get back from our sister in laws wedding at the end of this month. I have a Librarian, Office Management and Administration background, so probably look into those fields again. I did try retail over the Christmas period and it was a lot of fun, but they have no full-time vacancies for the position I was hired for. If I can't commit to full-time then no doubt will find something part-time as I want to be available to my son :) Can't wait to see how you're doing with your womens group and website :) hope it's going well for ya!

I would suppose I would have to say that I do enjoy what I do for a living, since I've been with the same company going on 13 years. Though we are getting ready to go through some major changes, I've put this many years in, I might as well retire from here. I also do PRN work for two other different departments for the same company. I average at least 50 hours a week between them all. That's awesome that you are going to be starting your own website and womens group, I can see where that will bring you great joy!

I would have to say that I do really like what I do for a living. I do not know if I actually love it though. I have had many jobs outside of the home and I liked every one of them for a period of time. It got old very fast with some of the co-workers I worked with. I am sl glad to be working from home now. I would have to say that I love that the most.

I don't really know for sure. I love my job. The people around me and the team I work with are all great! In fact, without them, I would not be where I am today. But then again, there is always something in there that is bugging me to yearn for more. I have been thinking about it for a while now. But cannot really pin point it down to one thing that I want the most! I guess the time is not really ripe for me to decide yet. Lots of exploring still to do.

I am not really sure! I am a stay at home mum and up until the last couple of years this was enough for me, but now I want more out of my life, just being a mum and cleaning and running around after everyone does not seem to be enough anymore. I want to do something for me as well now, I think that this includes work of some sort whether it be something I can do from home or a little part time job out of the house, or both! I still have one little girl at home with me, 2 in school and then one who is just about to take exams and leave, I cannot really do anything until the littlest one starts full time school which is in 2 years, but I think that once she does if I have not found anything in the meantime to do from home then I will try and get back into the outside world!

I also really enjoy the work I do, I get a kick out of the customers, and for the most part I am busy, busy, plus having money everyday*tips* is very nice. Every once in a while I just don't want to be around people, that is the only time I have any trouble in my job. Thank goodness it does not happen to often.Best of luck on your website. Exciting!

I am an English as second language teacher. I love what I am doing because it is a lot of fun. I am teaching children a language different from their mother tongue. Its just so amazing to see how the children got to learn and love the language eventhough it is very difficult. They know the value or importance of learning English. Their achievements is my happiness. take care =)
