My daughter works in a small restuarant in a nearby town and they serve fried biscuits and apple butter. I remember having these as a kid wiht my grandparents at a small restuarant.
These are very good and I like them best with homemade apple butter but any will work. I have made some of these before at home by using a can of biscuits and dropping them in the deep fryer.

Oh, you have to try them! I always just deep fry a few canned biscuits and while they are warm I dip them into the apple butter. Yummy!!

I really love fried biscuts. When I lived in Vermont, they poured maple surup on them. very yummy. I could have eaten a ton of those things. Thankx for the reminder. I had not thought of those fried biscuts in years. I think I will go fry up a batch.

I can't imagine maple syrup on them but I am not a big syrup fan either. Did you fry some of these? if so, I hope you liked them.
