I hate vegetables back then.. I got afraid when I had this ballooning body in a 4'10 physique. I would hate to see myself look like a triple gallon lined up together. LOL.
I started up on a diet program since May 2006, I love veggies then, healthier and lighter my kind of body can contain. I've lost 12 lbs with it. Now, aahhh, I gained 2 lbs back. So, I guess it's time to eat healthy again. LOL.
[i]In the biggest study of its kind ever conducted, scientists have discovered that foods "contain up to 40 per cent more nutrients if they are grown without chemical fertilizers and pesticides." The study, which was conducted at Newcastle University and funded by the European Union and food companies, found that the "health benefits were so striking that moving to organic food was the equivalent of eating an extra portion of fruit and vegetables every day."

No way. I love veges. I can live my whole life on veges alone. After all they are created and designed to be consumed by people and the animals.
However, after the great Noah's flood there was no plants around that is why they were allowed to eat meat.
Here in the UK, organic foods are more expensive because they take too long to mature. Unlike in the Philippines, most vegetables we buy in the market especially locally produced are organic.
That is why you are very lucky out there.
I am trying to be a vegetarian but I think when I get back to the Philippines I won't be able to resist fish especially in Palawan.

eww i hate most vegetables. Like the only vegetable I really like is carrots. Like when I was a kid I had no problem eating anything that came in my path. Now I guess since I matured or gotten older my taste buds just dont like certain foods anymore. I wish I could start liking all kids of food again so I am not limited on eating junk food and fast food everyday.

I love my veggies. The only ones I dont care for in Corn in a can, aspragus, and peas. Corn I dont mind if it's corn on the cob. Aspragus NO WAY and peas... if they are in a meal or something... then I dont mind as much but I will still usually pick them out :) I'm picky. I guess I got lucky as my children LOVE their veggies as well. They dont really care for the calliflower as much but give them anything else their happy. Good luck on the whole weight loss thing.

I never hated vegies in general but of course I have small list of vegetables that I really can't take at all. First is eggplant. Yuck. Hehehe.. I don't know but i don't know what's really the deal with its taste, how does it taste like that even if you cook it in different ways. Second is radish and i don' wanna murder the dignity of radish in this world. Third is carrots and I don't know why I hate it when cooked as a vegetable but I like it when it's made into carrot shake. I also don't like cabbage and its family because I have illness that prohibits eating it. Actually I don't hate them, I just came to dislike it because of my goiter thingy.
I know that vegetables are healthy and cheap and yummy (well some of them) and my mother really ensure that we do have vegetables in the fridge.

Hahaha! Triple gallon lined up together? Oh! I don't think that you look like that my friend...
I love vegetables! There are some vegetables that I do not really like though. It is really good to eat healthy so fruits and vegetables should be part of our diet.

When I was a child I did not like vegetables very much only carrots, peas and potatoes and raw cabbage. As soon as I got married that cured me of being a fussy eater and now I will try anything if it is only once. I adore vegetahles and salades now

I enjoy veggies, but find it hard to find ones I can eat since I have a lot of allergies that prevent me from eating most foods that everyone else can.
What kind of diet were you on? was it strickly veggies only?
I am 4"11 and find it hard to maintain a healthy weight. I know I should weigh less than I do (125lbs) but it's hard because I crave sugar so badly.

carrots, celery and tomato I don't mind but I have a hard time being motivated to eat vegetables in general. I shouldn't feel that way though as they are a great snack with very little calories. It's best to get your veggies in everyday if you can. I also prefer cooked vegetables over raw.

I really do not like vegetables at all. I can eat corn and green beans and that is just about it. I like to eat alot of raw vegetables but will only eat cooked corn and green beans. I love all kinds of fruit though and it does not matter if it is cooked or not. I will still eat it. I am mainly into raw fruit and vegetables though.
