cellphones are very common nowadays. frankly speaking we are dependent on it. every now and then cellphone companies introduce different brands and models some are expensive and some are very affordable even masses can buy. the question is, with or without cellphone?

hey, can you imagine life without cellphone nowadays ? where we have relatives/friends all over the world...how can you comunicate with them? you send them a message, call them instantly! The simple phone is useless nowadays, it's good to call room-service :)) ... anyway a couple of years ago the cell phone was a luxury thing, now all people can afford a mobile phone ! So life without mobile phone and internet would be booring and hard(my opinion :P )!

With!
I think cellphone is such a wonderful invention.
Even though I seldom use it, I still like to have access. What happens if there is an emergency?
At least, I can still use the phone to call for help.

I can become so use to using cellphones, I really can not work without one. I use it as a second alarm clock and for quick note taking. A few weeks ago I missed placed my cellphone at a theatre I was working at and started to freak out! Luckily some had found it for me the next day.

I don't know if you would believe me... but I don't have one. Well, I don't need it. I am a stay-at-home wife and we have landline and internet so I don't think I need a cellphone to communicate or reach out to people. But I am not against it. I used to have one when I was in the Philippines but still I was not really into it. I only used it for alarm and to look at the time, and of course, to wait for my fiance's overseas call. But if you think that I am like other people who are always on it, nope. My friends even gave up texting me because I never text back. I am just plain lazy., I suppose.

Fist of all allow me to add that cell phones are now widely used by even the most ordinary people in our society. Even those who hold a lowest position in any workplace have it and sometimes even with more expensive unit that what were using.
This is very true and I can prove it myself, I am only using an old model of NOkia cell phone but some of our tea boy in the office are using higher version, N70, N73, etc.
As to your question, I'm sure to live without it though I find it one of the basic necessities, so I may say with CELLPHONE!

I just recently bought one called a Jitterbug that is very simple for someone like me who needs something very simple. My daughter's each have phones that confuse me trying to use them and I don't need all the text and picture taking stuff on them. The Jitterbug lets you answer everything by either pushing a yes and no button or answering yes and no. The number buttons are large and lit up and my own number is right on the phone so if I forget it, it is right there for me. My kids tease me that it is for old people, but I am old, so I guess it fits. I forget to take it with me much of the time!

Hi Julyteen!
Cellphone is an important communication tool nowadays. I have no landlines and network in my apartment, cellphone is the only way I communicate with my family, friends and colleagues after work. Sometimes I feel worried if I don't take my cellphone with me when I go outside.
New styles cellphones with more functions, such as radio, digital camera or mp4, were introduced every quickly nowadays, I don't need and don't want to buy these ones. I only need some basic functions, like call, answer and send short messages.

Yes, I would like to say I could survive without it, but I'd be lying. I always have it, and sometimes I'll walk out of the house without it, and I sure miss is...so definitely with..

I hate having to use a cell phone but society has programmed us to believe we can't live without it. Long ago when most of us were kids we would leave the house all day and play and nobody had a phone, heck, we didn't want to be reached. Nowdays if you don't have a cell phone people think something is wrong with you. I hate having to remember if I've forgotten it, I'm lucky to get myself out the door with my wallet, now I have something else to carry. If I didn't have one I wouldn't miss it. Its become an accessory, not a neccessity. Cell companies are always trying new stuff on the public, I know some people have to have cell phones for their jobs and that's where companies make their bread and butter.

I usually say with cellphone, because I like to be able to get in contact with people when I need to. At this point in time, that's impossible though, because I forgot to take it out of my pants pocket, and it got washed in the washing machine. I felt like an idiot of course. My mother just told me it happened, when I woke up this afternoon, yes, I woke up this afternoon, haha.

What you are asking is a very similar question to "To be or not to be" :)
I guess you can argue that people before the invention of cell phones, or even telephones lived happily and were less concerned about charging there phone, or sending texts or radiations emitted by cell phones... But I'm sure if they knew that such a thing exiisted it would be the first thing on their shopping list...
