What is going on here?

Yes I have just dropped one point (I know it's only one, but I'm new here and every point counts!). I wondered if I had made a bad opinion or comment and was being penalised. Has this happened before?

Hiya winterose, how are you today? No it is not only happening to you it has been happening to me on and off for the last week and I am really getting sick of it. In the last week I have lost about 30 or 40 points, last night when I logged off I had 2218, when I came on this morning I had 2014. When I went to pick my kids up from school I had 2241 and when I came back just now I had 2234 and I am really fed up of it.

I believe someone could have rate you negatively in some discussion if I am not wrong about how the system work here.

At least one of my latest threads disappeared overnight. Made me so mad. I hope it's just the system and not my posting something I shouldn't have. You are alowed to post links right?

I am, too, though not to the degree you are. I have lost a couple points and shrugged it off to discussions being deleted, but then I will be back on half an hour later, and the count is back to where it should have been. Today it is "off" by about 5 or so. 30 is ALOT and I would be very frustrated, but it seems it might be a widespread glitch to varying degrees.

Since I have no idea how the rating system works I can't even answer you - heck - I've only got a 5 star! I wouldn't sweat it - you know your posts are thoughtful and thought provoking, so don't worry about dropping a few points now and again.

That happen to me to I wan't here for 3 days when I leave I had 8889 I had lost about 9 points, and I lost 2 cents yesterday, and my star was 9 red star, now I have a yellow star, and I don't know what is going on either, all we can do like I told the other person, we half to go with the flo. Mylot don't tell you when you break a rule but you know it, when they talke points, and deduct.

Its ok Rose I was on this morning I went out for the Day it is now 1045 pm here and I have also lost 12 Points so I really do not know what is going on I am not happy about this starting all over again

I haven't lost any points but I did lose about 30 cents. I thought that was a bit odd. I can't remember that ever happening to me before. Oh well, easy come, easy go.

I lost alot of points one day here also. I do not know why though. I always try to be so careful as to the discussions that I respond to. I kept posting responses but my points were not going up. they were going down. I think there must have been something wrong with the system also. I seen alot of my friends with the same problem also. I sure hope it does not continue to happen to us.

Hi Winterose, I have also lost between 20 and thirty post points today I am still not back up to what I was on last night when I went to bed. I know a member has been completly deleted and if any of us has every replied at any time to them that may be why as discussions have all gone too. Ellie :D

I woke up to the same number of points, but have lost quite a few throughout the day. I know one pretty heavy poster got deleted last night or this morning, so with his posts gone, a lot of people are probably seeing their number decline.

I think they found something against the rules specified here and removed your discussions. Please try to read the rules and figure it out than loosing the points. If you feel your posts are valid try to contact MyLot.

Meeh too. My discussion points dropped from 275 to 262 when I opened up my mylot this afternoon. It came as a surprise myself. I thought that by posting 30 discussions in a day, as I am accustomed to, I would earn about $1.00. Then I realized I was subtracted more than 10 discussions, and this has not yet happened to before. I thought not of opening this up for discussion because it might look a little trivial. I mean, compared to many others whose discussions reach thousands already, my few hundred points looks minute. But now that you have brought the issue to the fore, then I realized I was not the only one who suffered the same fate today. It's sad. And I am not sure if there is something wrong with mylot today or that the one (people?) who is (are?) deleting our discussions is (are?) a little restrictive this time. Oh well, there goes our intelligent posts.

It's happened to me so many times it no longer elicits a reaction from me. I lose points and I lose earnings, same difference. I just assume as others have told me in the past that some discussions were deleted. The faq does say some posts could get deleted so I figure that is what is going on and I get the feeling Mylot is kinda averse to any sort of criticism on the system. Just a feeling. Lol!

I experienced this too. I lost several points back then quite to my shock and later I noticed that there were some discussions were deleted completely and I responded to the discussions back then.

It happened again, I was at $4.48 last night and now I'm at $4.34!!! I worked too hard for this, they can't just go taking it away. At this rate I'll never make payout, even though I spend too much time here.

winterrose it hashappened to me just today I goton here with 2300 points and started to post and my points were 2283 and I am going what happened? why me and what did i do? I was at 2300 when I went to bed so why the drop what is going on and why is it happening and it seems to be happening to a lot of others too. is it a glitch of some sort?

I hope that never happens to me i mean 1 or 2 points is ok , but that seems like a lot of extra typing for nothing to have that much deleted just because of someone else :(

I am a newbie, but have been told this happens sometimes. I sure hope they fix it soon , because I have noticed I am missing so points.
