Can I do more than 1 discussions at a time in diff windows??

I started this bcoz I think that its not possible.. give your comments here..

To be honest, I'm not sure-I've heard other posters refer to doing it, so I think it is possible, but I have enough trouble following one conversation and collecting my thoughts for one post to be able to do more than one at once! I can multi-task, but not that well! :)
