Which one do you prefer, a cat or a dog?

Even though dogs require more attention than cats do and cost more to maintain ill say dogs as you can get more enjoyment from owning one ie long walks/playing. Also im allergic to cat hair so I could never own one anyway.

With me, I like both. But I like them when they are small. When they grow up, they have shed their hair all over the floor.

I would pick a cat hands down. I just got another cat and i love my cats.I have nothing against dogs,i'm just a cat person.

i would have to say cats. i just love cats. they are so cute and they like to cuddle. i mean i like dogs too, but only small ones. but i would choose a cat over a dog anyday. cats are so much easier to take care of and you don't have to do much for them.

cats are definitely better. they dont dirty the floor and they do not disturb us too much. they live their own life and have individuality and at the same time they never fail to show their love for us

cats. my cats are my babies and it all depends on the cat. most of mine are very loving and will listen . my cat princeton starts to rock and roll when i call his name . he also is known to give headbutts. I think cats are much more crazy than dogs and fun . I like dogs too !!

Actually, you know what? I like both! Ive always had both a cat and a dog together and because they grow up together, my two pets stay together, play together and sleep next to each other. But let me tell you it is the cat that always teases my dog. He doesn't mind being smacked by her and even when my cat grips his ear with her teeth and swings he stands and allows her to! And when the cat is tired with all her mischief she curls up in the space between the dog's forelegs and sleeps blissfully!

I like both and all my life I has both.

Yes I agree with result because cats have softer fur and they got claws that feels like their massaging the skin. But If I was to ask to choose only one I probably would pick the dog. Because the dog will protect a person more than a cat will. And also a person can play frizbee with a dog and run all over the yard with a dog. And take walks. So if you think about it a person can do more fun things with a dog than a cat..
