I just love the singing,TAP DANCING and the actings.Well the movie is about the life of the penguins, 1 a singing group and the other a dancing group!!Norma Jean and Memphis have a chick..Mumble,who happen to have a terrible singing voice..but he has a talent tat none of the other penguins have ever seen before..TAP DANCING!! Moreso the lesson the movie tries to convey is about spreading ecological concern regarding the natural habitat of the Penguins, where the Humans destroy it by mass fishing!! wonderful animation with a good message.

at first, you'd think that this movie is just a plain musical/animation for kids. but there's truly a deeper message in it and i think that everyone can be unique and make a difference/make an action to change the world. xD

its about the strunggle a little pinguin to get the answer for his question that he cant get from his colony and never give up if there's no one support you, thats what i got from this movie

hi unkisweety, you are right. happy feet isnt just a movie for kids. happy feet showed a glimpse of the life of different penguins in the north pole. the big kind of penguins and the little penguins as well i dont know what kind they are though, but ill get on it as soon as i can. hehehe. showing that males takes care of their eggs and some penguins searches for rocks in order to get the penguin of their dreams. kind of sweet really. it also has an environmental subject matter to it. it talked about the depletion marine life in that case 'fish', it talks about the endangerment of penguins because of the depletion of the fish. and who causes this? humans, for want of food we are also taking food away from other animals. and as one of the causes of the deletion of marine life, we must do our part and protect it while it is still here. it also talks about being different, it shows that being different from everybody else is okay, because not everybody is born to think alike. thats why we have free will. we choose whatever we want, however we want, whenever we want. we can decide to go with the flow or against the current. and people shouldnt be ashamed of being different because being different makes us who we are. althought different people are usually misunderstood by others, different people are people who can also change the world just by having different and creative ideas apart from everyone else.

taare zameen par. very heart touching movie.. it teaches us that every child is special and got some unique talent ... we should explore that talent and not point to his or her negative points...................

Hi uniksweety, i like the movie. Same as you, i do feel that this movie not only for kids, but it also have the hidden message. In my opinion, i think the hidden message is to deliver to those people who already become parents. As parents, they should understand, everyone is born uniquely in this world, with their own strength. Therefore, parents should let the child to grow in their own way, and not forcing the child to be someone as their expectation.
