Did they make a mistake tonight?

I think that American made a mistake also. I live here and I also voted for him 3 times. I was hoping and thought sure it was Carly also. She sounded awful on that song she sung.

Definately a mistake!! I thought it was going to be Syeshia. I just don't think this is going to be a good year for the show if it continues this way. If both David's get booted, you know it is rigged!!

Michael Johns was actually my favourite. I think America made a HUGE mistake with this! He's amazing. He may not have been perfect last week but I can name a few others who should have went before him aswell. But this is just the start of sometething amazing. There's no doubt you won't hear from him again. :) He's got his name out there. He'll have the phonecalls rolling in by tomorrow! ha

Definitely, definitely, definitely a BIG mistake. I am aghast! I look forward to the show every week BECAUSE of Michael John. I'm so upset...sob... what's the MATTER with you America?!!

America made a mistake. I believe so. I cried last night watching Michael Johns singing his final song. I never imagined since the day the season began that he will be voted out that early. I thought that it will be Michael Johns and David Cook will be left for the final two and i find that line up very challenging because that two always being compared. I love Michael Johns than David Cook and he doesn't deserved to be eliminated last night. I expected it is Syesha Mercado that will be going home and not him. But we can turn back the time, it was already happened. What we have to do is to support him outside Idol and i believe in him. With the attitude and a talent he will soar high. Michael Johns is my one and only Idol.

it was a definitely a shocking elimination!! i was pretty disappointed because michael johns was one of my favourites and i was hoping that he would stay till the end of the competition or something. this is so wrong!! why did it have to be michael johns..why why..haha..but i'm sure he'll succeed even though he's not in idol anymore. let's all support him

ouch... michael johns is my favorite. do you remember jasmin trias? she was at the top three together with fantasia at american idol season three. randy told her that this is american idol... "american" she is a filipina who is now living in america. i think it was just like that. michael johns is an australian and now living in america. i thought also that carly or kristy is the one who will be out. i am not an american but i watch american idol. i agree with you that america made a mistake. if you compare michael's weekly performance to kristy's weekly performance i think america made a mistake.

I was shocked and so was the rest of the audience and the judges. I expected one of the girls to go. I actually thought that Brooke didn't do too well last week but I was wrong.

I definitely think it was a HUGE mistake! I was shocked- there were four others (imo) that should have gone before him. I am buying his song from last week later tonight from itunes- that song still gives me butterflies...lol. First shocker of the season for me, and I am so disappointed it was him.
