Three Things That Make Me Panic

I was thinking today that there are a few things that make me panic when I run low on them. These thoughts came to mind when I was making a mental note of things I needed to get at the store today. Toilet paper takes first place on that list. We keep extra rolls in the guest bathroom. But, when I notice that there is only one or two rolls left, I go to the store the following day and buy a mega pack! Milk is something that I cannot live without either. I use it in my coffee. If I don't have my morning coffee the day isn't right! Personal products are another thing that makes me lose sleep over when I run low. I mean really, I don't want to go back to the life on the prairie days when you used old cloths! What makes you panic when you run low?

I would agree with you. Those are also the things that I don't want to be without.

I have to make my shopping list so I can remember these things. Don't know why I bother to make the list because I buy them at least once every 2-3 weeks.

I would have to say toilet paper, and milk as well. Since I know my cycle pretty well, I am always set with the personal care products. So I would have to also add bread to that list, and Crystal Lite. I have to have my Crystal Lite.

I try to stock up on personal products, but for some reason I always run short and have to head for the store in a hurry!

Chocolate definitely, I always keep a supply in, whether it's in the fridge, cupboard or my secret hiding place and I am always stocking up, I don't gollop it all down at once but it's the thought of it being there that helps if I am down or depressed. Milk definitely, but just for my cereal I can't abide it in coffee and toothpaste! I always buy up when there's a promotion on, because I have lovely teeth and I really look after them and I can't abide not having any toothpaste in the house to keep them looking so good and healthy!

I agree with you on the chocolate. I keep at least a bag of chocolate chips in the cupboard. When the world seems to crumble one can always make chocolate chip cookies to pick you up.

I just ran out of my spray deodorant today. Guess I will have to use the rollon. I am the same way with the treats for our cats. They must have their treats!

Definitely toilet paper!
Milk, I have powdered now so that I can quit worrying about it for baking. Drinking, well, we can drink something else, but when I need it for baking, I need it for baking.
Shampoo, soap, laundry soap and deoterant. I hate it when I run out of those.
Take care

I start to panic whenever hear that bad weather is headed our way and there is the risk that we will lose power and I will not be able to watch the best movie in the world. I bought a generator for these sorts of emergencies and I worry when I start to run low on fuel for the generator because then I can't watch my favorite movie. I also worry that an airplane may crash on my underground bunker where I watch Napoleon Dynamite. I have tried to make this space as safe as possible so that I can watch the most best lovable movie in the world in peace, but I start to panic when I think about all of the things that can go wrong that may prevent me from being united with this awesomely great movie.

Im with you my friend toliet paper take first priority.LOL Then it would be water. We dont drink the water in this house. It has a terrible taste. So I get the bottled water. I too can not live without my coffee in the morning. So I always make sure there is milk for the morning.

TP is #1 on my list. Next would be feminine products, ciggies, and Dt. Mt. Dew.
I tend to let the personal items run close to low from time to time but the others I replace when I get even sort-of low. Of course I can get the first two at work, but the other 2 require a stop at another store.

I don't ever really have the chance to run out of things. i always stock up to the point we have way too much...I would probably panic if I didn't have any diapers for the baby! I have had this happen when we are out & it's not fun trying to figure out a solution.

I used cloth diapers so the only time I panicked was when the washing machine broke down.

Hubby would add coffee and bread to that list. We usually have at least 2 cans in the pantry and an extra loaf of bread too.

Toilet paper is number one on my list too. Followed by a months worth of food, pet food, hygiene products, and then cleaning products. I keep a huge jug of vinegar and a huge bottle of dish soap for just in case cleaning.
It's like Sidney Poitier he always kept a candy bar or two in his pocket even after he made it big in Hollywood. He grew up poor and hungry and he never forgot that feeling and he never took his wealth for granted.
Most people who grow up like that take a vow never to be in that position again and they take precautions against it. Like stocking extra toilet paper and food just in case.

I sometimes panic when I run out of milk, since my sons and I eat cereal for breakfast during the week. Bread is another one, I use it to make sandwiches for lunch and making sure I have all the fixing to go on them so my sons do have to buy their lunch.

I don't really lose sleep over running low on supplies.
There was a time when I would have said milk. But that is because my daughter was drinking a lot of it and it was the only way she would nap.
Diapers and wipes..I don't like running low. I do have a big supply of cloth diapers I can use though if I don't get to the store.
Of all the things, personal products would be right up there near the top. I can always tell within a day of when I am going to start though, so I don't usually worry too much.

Oh yes definately milk, and then coffee also, if I am going to run out of coffee it will always be on a sunday that it will happen. I hate running out of things though, weekends are the worst in our house, I go shopping every Monday and I do a weeks shopping but you can guarantee that by saturday things are starting to run out.

Oh, good unique discussion! Ok, my list, in the order or priority, would be as follows:
1)Facial wax - Hey, I'm Italian, what do you want? My husband says he doesn't see anything and he doesn't know why I do it but I do and that's the important part of it all LOL...Moving on....
2)Toilet paper - No one wants to be in the bathroom and realize that there is none there to wipe with LMBO!!!
3)Food - I need food to keep me sane and energized LOL...
I think this about covers it LOL...Great discussion!

Running late makes me panic, situations that I absolutely cannot change and when I can't get a person to see my point of view on something. In other words, it's mainly when things get out of my control Things like you mention, no big deal to me, it's within my control and I can just go get some more!
