Anyone suffering with pancreatic cancer and having chemo for it?

We received the devastating news yesterday that a dear friend of mine has pancreatic cancer. She cannot be operated on to remove it. The specialist has suggested aggressive chemo immediately. Is there anyone on mylot that is or has been through this? If so, would you care to help me understand what my friend is going to experience, how I can help her emotionally, and how long the chemo course took, in fact any info right now would be appreciated. Yes I can get info on the chemo treatment from the internet, but I feel to get this info from someone who is or has already been through it would help me - help her deal? - cope? with it please.
