If he is snoring really bad, there is a big chance that he has sleep apea. In other words, he stops breathing in his sleep. He needs to talk to his doctor about this and have a sleep study done. There is a machine that sleep apnea sufferers have to sleep with that help them breathe better. Good luck!

If he snores while sleeping on his back, you can make a pocket in the back of his jammies, then put a tennis ball in the pocket, that will keep him off his back. I was going to suggest those nose strips but I see someone else has already done that. Also I was going to mention that he might have sleep apnea, or if he has a weight poblem but that was covered too. I have heard the tennis ball trick works real well. Good luck getting to sleep.

My hubby got immune to the breathe-right strips too. They seem to help some nights, but not consistently. What I do is drown him out with white noise. We have three fans in our bedroom, and if that doesn't do it, I actually have a white noise box that I can turn on. It's supposed to sound like wind or waves or whatever (it has different settings) but it's really just about the same as the fan but with a volume control.

Snoring shouldn't be taken lightly. Have you considered getting your husband tested? He might be suffering from sleep apnea. Meanwhile, if you have time, I suggest you check this site, it offers information about snoring, sleep apnea, and ways on how to prevent this since you are looking for a cure. http://askthesleepexperts.com/

Sleep apnea is a common cause of snoring. It may not be the problem, but should be checked.
