I am 29, coming up to my 30th in September this year. I was just curious is there anything that you feel too old to do? I guess I am starting to feel that I am too old to go night clubbing anymore as the main age group of people there are aged 18 - 21 years, I would feel old there. Which is a shame as I love to dance and have a good time. How about you?

Ah ha, found it!! I just had to go through all my friends discussions through myLot instead of my email, I wonder why this one did not come through there. I do not feel too old to do anything, but I went out last night and noticed that everyone around me seemed to look really young, like my sons age, he is 16, I almost expected to bump into some of his friends! It was really weird and I felt a bit out of place at first, but once I had a drink in me it did not matter, we had a laugh and danced the night away!!

You sound like a bit of a party animal like me. What is your favourite song to dance too?

I love all the dance music that is out, and some of the pop, but I mainly like dance. Like Rhianna quite a lot, sugababes, and loads of different ones.

Well I do not know if there is really anything that I am too old to do.I am 56 years young. I still go to the club every now and then, I love to dance and listen to music, but I will not go to the clubs that have all the young people at them. There are some clubs that older people go to.I still love to go to amusement parks and ride rides.love to go swimming, go to water parks.I go to ball games.I really can not say that there is anything that I am too old too do, I just may not do it as much or as long.

Good to see you are making the most of your life and enjoying it to the fullest. I still go swimming and enjoy rides at Amusement parks too. Do you like to go on the rollercoaster? I feel like I have more fear with the older I get on some of these rides, lol.

I am just over 60 now and yes there are somethings that go because you really don't want to do them anymore, like going to a nightclub and being out until the early hours of the morning. The bonus is that new things come into your life to replace them, I don't think age is important at all just live your life to the full and enjoy every day forget how old you are

Yes I agree new things come into your life and that is good. However I still miss some of the old things like going out and partying and dancing. I am not too worried about how old I am, just think it is bit sad how time flies quickly and activities once enjoyed are not the same anymore.

you are right time does fly remarkably fast and it certainly seems to go faster the older you get. Always look to the future do not spend much time looking back

Well I am definately to old to play on the playground at McDonalds. LOL. I think that if you want to go night clubbing that you are never too old to do that. But I have never been to one in my life. If at the age of 50 I finally get the urge to go I will. Go dancing and have a good time.

That is funny, lol, never too old for the playground. I agree you are never too old to go dancing just wish there was a nightclub for over 25s so I did not feel so old.

I am definitely too old to "go clubbing" even if I wanted to. I am also too old to have kids, even if I still could. Many people do at my age and even older but I personally feel I am past that stage in life. I would adopt a grandchild if necessary, and raise them, or even if I was presented with the opportunity to adopt any child, I probably would...but to have one of my own...uh-huh. Fun question- with so many ages here you should get a wide variety of interesting responses!

Adopt a grandchild, that is a good one. Never heard of that before? Do you have grandchildren? Yes I have had some interesting responses, I liked it when someone said they are too old to play in Macca's playground, that made me laugh.

I am 29 years old. I like watching cartoons but a lot of people laugh at me when they know that. I really do not know what is wrong with watching cartoon. it looks like watching a movie, there is a plot and characters exactly like a movie. Thanks

Nothing wrong with cartoons, I love the smurfs but they don't have that anymore. Flinstones are also good. I like the ones when we were growing up, the ones these days aren't as good.

Well I am 40 and I am too old to go out to the clubs also. I dont go to bars anymore and drink. I was not that much of a drinker anyways. I dont stay up late at night anymore because I have to get the kids up for school.

hi kiran-i have always gone by the saying your as old as you feel-despite my age i am young at heart and go dancing with my son and his friends or go to the pub for a drink and a laugh-its nice to be accepted that way but have always tried to be my childrens friend as well as their mother and seemed to of achieved it-we have even had partys at my house especially at halloween when everyone dresses up good dancing music etc-then the following day i have had to get up and clear up but my son always helps too-yes i also like to have time in and just stay at home doing my own thing the gardening etc but how you feel in your life is how old you are and i know i will always feel young-including you as your children will keep you that way your friend littleowl

I'm 28 and I feeel the same way. I love parties and clubbing though. But once I'm there, I would feel old because I'm around with bunch of 18-21s there. But it doesn't give me that kind of feeling when I'm around with my friends who's around my age. I am always a kid at heart, and can get along well with younger people. But what irritates me with this young people, they laugh at nonsense things so much than I do, all the giggles and not funny jokes which I don't find funny at all..Now that makes me feel old too! lol

Your funny, lol. I am glad someone understands how I feel. I think some people misinterpreted my question here, was not saying I think my life is over and I am not living life to the fullest. Just simply think that I am getting older and it feels strange going to some places as there are not people my age there, lol.

I feel too old to do most of the things I used to love doing, either because I am too old to be acting "childish" or because I just physically can't do what I could when I was younger and healthier. The first thing that popped into my mind reading your question was ... I feel to old to trick or treat on Halloween, obviously I should ... but I have a friend that is older than I that still goes out every year. He doesn't have children he just wants the candy, lol.

well i guess i will start this response with a quote from the smartest woman i know, my mom, as she always says you are never too old to do anything that you love to do. I am only 21 but my boyfriend is 32 and we do all sorts of things people say that he is too old to do... like skating rinks for example.... a lot of people think it is tailor made for teenagers or people with children. I can't help it we love to skate so i say that no one is ever too old for something that they love to do. so now that i sound like my mother (which by the way is something i said I'd never do) i will leave this one with this if you love it and it is not illegal do what you feel like doing. we were not meant to sit in our houses and rot until we die. live life to the fullest no matter what people think and keep on clubbing (by the way i have seen like 50 year olds do this so you are not too old) :)

Yes I like that quote. Don't worry I will still live my life to the fullest. Was just stating how if I was to go clubbing it would feel weird as 98% of the people there are aged 18-21 years old. I would feel more comfortable and have more of a good time if there was more people my age there as I can relate to them more. That is all I meant, I totally agree with you about still do things you enjoy and live life.
