Wow! Recently I just made some settings change in my email. I am using only one email just for mylot. With the bulk of mylot notifications coming.. Have to filter each of them so as to separate comments, responses and new discussions even the mylot digests. Did you?

I use message rules with my Outlook Express to sort my email. If I didn't I'd never keep any of it straight. I just have far too much coming in. I'm just glad that Gmail works with Outlook Express because if it didn't I'd have a heck of a mess on my hands

oh you are clever, I don't like fiddling with the settings, I am so scared I am going to muck things up but it sounds like a good idea....

Thank you. Yes, it will save more time and you know what to open first when you open your mail.

It is a great idea to filter everything, but I am lazy, I just use the same email address for every thing and that includes my personal email and stuff for my e-zine etc.

i'm a member of many social networking sites cause i like to meet new people, i'm also into internet marketing, so i get like 200 emails per day, but i learned this system caled GTD, or Getting Things Done, and my inbox is usually clear within a few minutes of my daily download of 200 emails. i use outlook to download email directly to my pc, its much faster than using web based email in my opinion, and i can save emails into folders outside of my email program by just dragging the message to my desktop. anyways, i have one filter setup in outlook that filters all the emails from the social sites into one folder named 'contacts' it's pretty easy to do, email me if you need simple instructions.

What email service are you using.. it will work to any of yahoo, gmail or hotmail. Just look at the email options or setting and look for FILTERS. Just follow the instructions and everything will just come in place and be organized.

I haven't done it yet, still have no time to do so. What I usually do is, read first those comments, responses and BR's I receive then delete them. As for those discussions posted by my friends, I usually save those interesting once and then see if I could give my opinion about the subject matter. And for those other miscellaneous notifications, I put them on my spam box for the meantime.. But certainly, that would be a great thing to get organized.

I have all of my Mylot email notifications sent to my mailbox also. I had to make me a folder for all of them because they pour in daily and they build up on me sometimes.
