how many hours do you wear contact lens every day?

I use the kind of contacts that can be worn 24 hours per day, so I wear them most of the time. I decided to try that kind because I would often fall asleep with my contacts in (on accident) and then I would wake up with horribly dry eyes! I still sometimes take my contacts out to sleep anyway though, just to make sure my eyes get a break from them occasionally. It does make it really convenient for traveling though, cause I technically only have to take them out once a month, so I don't have to fuss with a contact case and everything. Also, it saves me some money on buying contact solution since I don't have to soak them very often! :)

If I have contact lens i should have responded correctly. But anyway if at all I have,I might have to wear nearly for more than 14-16 hours. This is because these days i am infront of computer for almost similar hours and need to use. What do you say..

I wear my contact all day. Form about 6:30 am to whenever I crawl into bed, often after midnight.

I wear them like 8 or yes maybe 10 hours a day too. I don't wear them only when I'm home. At other times when I travel far, I wear my glasses.

I wear my contact lense for about 10 hours a day unless we are going out at night and then it would be in longer. I only wear one lense on my left eye, this is due to the sight in the right eye being almost no exsistant so my optitian thought it would be a waste of money having a lense on that eye.

hello, i dont have personal answer for this coz i dont use anything for my eyes BUT i can share the info using my husband's haha! he use his all day (14 hours or more) and throw it afterwards, his is disposable not sure about the others. so far he is not having problems with it and his been using it for so many years and happy that it works great for him coz he is very used to it. i guess it all depends on how comfortable you are wearing it. takecare!

I tried contact lens once but it made me feel very uncomfortable. so i decided to go back for my glasses. when playing games i wear contact lens so that i dont feel any difficulty while playing with my glasses. i use them not more than 2 to 3hrs which is the gaming hours.

I take mine out when I go to bed usally after 12 hours. I proberly should do it a lot sooner. Then again it was a couple of hours after I was awake that I put my contacts in. I know the last time I saw my eye dovtor he told me to make sure I give my eyes a rest from wearing contacts.

I don't know how many times is it the best times to wear contact leans.Because i always wear glasses.I have searched the answer on website.different kinds of contact leans's time is different.different people are different times.So it's hard to say how many time you can wear.In my bedchamber,my room friends sometimes take the contact leans.But they all say that it is not convenient to wear contact leans for a long time.They complain about the eyes feeling dry.when they play computer,they all have to put down the contact leans.they say that it's very bad to watch computer with contact leans.It's also hard and troubled to put them on and down. It's said that if you always take contact leans.the film of eyes will become thiner and thiner,you can't accept laser cure.and the times for you to wear contact leans are limited.

I wear mine a little longer than I'm really suppose to. I normally wear for days and days at a time. I think the only time I decide to take them out is when they start irritating me. But ever since I went to the doctor I try not to wear them as much anymore. I either wear my glasses, usually only if I leave the house. All the other times I just go without either one of them. I believe it would be better for my eyes that way.

ALL DAY. Many times I don't even take them out for days on end. To answer your question, though, when I do remove them regularly I end up wearing them for about 16-18 hours every day. That is the entire time I am awake.

I wearmy contacts for about 15 hours per day. I only take them out at night after I am just about ready for bed. I find it a liitle more difficult to drive wering my glasses than it is wearing contact lenses.

I am lucky, I don't need to wear contact lenses. I only wear my glasses when my eyes are tired or I am reading in the evenings when the light isn't that good. I have friends who wear contact lenses and some of them complain that their eyes hurt after a couple of hours but others have even forgotten to take them off at night and have been fine. I think it is an individual thing.

one and a half years ago i weared them for almos 16hours a day, later i know it is very bad, and then i planed to have a baby, so i stopped wearing them for half a year before i got pregnant, during my pregancy time i didn't wear contact lenses.now my baby is more than two months, one day i'll wear them again for i really don't like glasses.
