Are you overweight all your life or not? When did you begin to be overweight? I gained alot of weight when I got pregnant and haven't totally got rid of it so I must say it was when I got pregnant and gave birth when I started to become overweight. How about you?

I've been overweight since I had hit puberty, either hormones caused it or me turning to food because no one else accepting me caused it. However I have been obese since I had my son... sad but true.. and been battling this with yo'yoing since.. so tired of it.

Hi there mbs730! I really hope that it will be alot easier for everyone to lose weight but I guess that will never happen. I think that what we really need is a very good motivation and lots of insporations. I hope that one day, you'll win the battle and there will be no more yo'yoing. Thank you very much for your response.

Thanks and its a tough battle. But those who are compulsive/emotional eaters need to do is to get to the root of why he or she eats and once that is acknowledged then its a matter of breaking the habit. Thats also hard!! And its so much easier said than done!

No, I have not been overweight all my life. In my younger days I was really into my sports so that kept me fit and active and smaller and muscular. My weight yoyo'ed quite a bit after I hit 30 and am now down to 184 pounds. I still have 25 pounds to go to get down to what I want to be.

Hi there ciades! Well, I would be glad too, lol. I think that gaining weight is not enough reason to get pregnant, lol. I guess you can eat lots of food, or maybe it's in your genes so you cannot do much about it. Maybe you should see a professional to be sure.

From the time I was little I had more weight on me , more than anyone in my school . Middle School I gained around 50 and went nuts. Then, I went on a diet and could only lose about 50 , but that helped in so many ways . After High School I slowly gained the weight back . For the past 4 years now i have been losing slowly and trying to just deal!
