I seldom wear high heels because I can never get used to wear them. Sometimes I have to wear medium high heels in some special occasions. Sometimes I will twist but fortunately I haven't fallen down. It will be so embarrassing if falling down because the high heels as you must wear so elegant.

Before I had my kids, I would wear high heels a lot and was very comfortable in them. But I switched to flats when I was pregnant the first time...and then even after my son was older, I found flats to be more comfortable running after a child. The only times I wear heels not are for an occassion...that's the only time I wear saris too. Now that's one deadly combination and I have to be very very careful....especially when climbing stairs and with a baby to boot!
Now that I've taken up the job as a teacher, I know I will have to wear a sari during functions...and I look stumpy in flats and sari...so I will have to wear some heels...I just HOPE I do not trip then...because I WILL surely have to climb a few steps to the stage then....and it would be embarassing if I fell in front of all those parents watching!

I agree that if you wear high heels and fall down, that's not a very elegant scene. That's why I never wear anything too high, at most like 2 inches. I wouldn't walk too fast or run in them and I have been really used to wearing high heels, therefore, I haven't fallen down (hopefully I never will ).

Thank God, not yet.. I just hope don't. I don't wearing high heels much, but whenever i wear it i felt like torn apart by my feet. The last time i used high heels on my friend's wedding and that 2 months ago. I felt my ankle was hurt after 1/2 hour standing with that heels. It's really tiring. Probably i'm not used to it yet.

Hi youless! I fell and twisted my ankle while wearing a 3 inch high heels 9 years ago. I won't forget that day because I fell from the van while stepping out from it and so many people have witnessed that incident. I returned to the van because I can't walk at that time anymore. My ankle hurt so badly and was swollen immediately after the fall. Now, I seldom wear high heels and only on formal occasions that i wear them. Just my thoughts my friend. Take care always and have a nice day! :)

I had a fascination for high heels when I was young. But slowly it started affecting my back and I started having severe back pain. So I stopped using it. But recently one of my friend forced me to wear it in her wedding reception I felt very ill at ease and yes I fell down once climbing up stairs. Lucky me there was no one around except my daughter. So I was not embarrassed much.

I have never fallen down because of wearing high heels because I have never worn them and walked beyond a couple steps.. If I attempted to wear high heels I would have to crawl around till I found another pair of shoes to put on..me..I wear flat flat shoes.

Hi dear youless, I am used to wear high heels when going to work or attending any formal occasion. We couldn’t deny that wearing high heels would make a lady to look more elegant. I always try my best not to put on any heels that are higher than 2 and a half inches. So I’ve never experienced any embarrassing situation to fall down because of wearing high heels.

I think most of the ladies perfer to wearing flat shoes. For us ,some high heels means torture our feet curelly. And sportshoes makes us feel more freely.I like them so much .On the other hand ,high heels make woman real woman althout sometimes it looks a little dangerous, hehe ,but never mind ,we can venture of falling down just for our attraction.
Fortunately,I never encourtered.Safe by more careful.

I tried once in my office work but It wasn't because of my heels but because I didn't pay attention to the stairs. I was just very confident that I memorize it already working there for like 5 years! Unfortunately, I miss a step, and I was rolling there like a child and our secretary that time was just looking at me with all her big open wide eyes! hahahhaha...She was shocked and motionless! I wasn't able to work by the following day and need an expert to massage me! It was very embarrassing and very painful too!

I am 5'10" so I almost never wear high heels. My partner is 5'9" too so I don't want to be a total viking goddess all the time. Just special occasions. LOL But when I do wear them I look more like goofy walking around. I surely don't have the art for walking in heels down. I have bent my feet pretty weird and once fell really bad. I could blame that on the heels but really I think it was the s pack. That was many years ago. LOL

No. Would you believe that I often trip over when I am wearing flats? Yes, I am more confortable wearing high heals and can even run on it. But with flats, I always trip over or sprain my ankle. I think I am flat-footed.

I have never fallen down. But I do find that I tend to stumble a bit more when I am wearing high heels. It is very embarassing when you are walking some where and mean reallly struting your stuff and then all of a sudden you trip a little on your own foot.
