is there a song that you consider really describes you
me i have one its from barbie diaries, its entitled this is me..
it goes somewhat like this...
everyone has a secret side
a winding path up yo a door thats open wide
you think you know me
but im changing all the time
cause if i wanna be sweet,
if i wanna be wild,
if i wanna cry like a child
if i pick the world its a ball in my hand
i guess that just who i am
this is me cant ignore it
reaching out
breaking free
constantly falling forward
im just going for it
this is me
yeah this song absolutely describes me, every word is an adjective for me.. im moody, changing all the time, but still im determined to reach my dreams even thro the ups and downs of life..This is me...
how about you can you share a song that describes you very much

Wow, then I do think you're a very strong person mhayelynna! Btw, I want to share mine. This song is actually a single from Lifehouse's album "Who We Are" and it goes on like this. I'll explain it later:
Ill do whatever it takes
To turn this around
I know what's at stake
I know that I've let you down
And if you give me a chance
Believe that I can change
I'll keep us together
Whatever it takes.
I think this part of the song reflects on me very well because I am currently experiencing loss of friends (they didn't go up there, they just go away.) and I'm willing to do everything just to get them back. I'll do whatever it takes. I'm the kind of person who likes to be with friends and I tend to have this inkling that I should protect them no matter what, because I value them as much as I value my life.

what a great discussion, you are really making me think, I don't really know, let's see
probably the song you've got a friend,
troubled
And you need some loving care
And nothing, nothing is going right
Close your eyes and think of me
And soon I will be there
To brighten up even your darkest night
You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I'll come running to see you again
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is call
And I'll be there
You've got a friend
If the sky above you
Grows dark and full of clouds
And that old north wind begins to blow
Keep your head together
And call my name out loud
Soon you'll hear me knocking at your door
You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I'll come running to see you
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is call
And I'll be there
Ain't it good to know that you've got a friend
When people can be so cold
They'll hurt you, and desert you
And take your soul if you let them
Oh, but don't you let them
You just call out my name
And you know wherever I am
I'll come running to see you again
Winter, spring, summer or fall
All you have to do is call
And I'll be there
You've got a friend

there's a lot of songs that describes me but the first song that came into my mind was --
I've been watching but the stars refuse to shine,
I've been searching but i just don't see the signs,
I know that it's out there,
There's got to be something for my soul somewhere!
I've been looking for someone to shed some light,
Not somebody just to get me through the night,
I could use some direction,
And I'm open to your suggestions.
All I want to do is find a way back into love.
I can't make it through without a way back into love.
And if I open my heart again,
I guess I'm hoping you'll be there for me in the end!
and then, there's this song that i keep on singing and then i realized its suitable to what is happening to me now --
i've been a bad bad girl
i've been careless with a delicate man
and its a sad sad world
when a girl will break a boy
just because she can.
what i need is a good defense
coz i'm feeling like a criminal
and i need to be redeemed
to the man i sinned against
coz he's all i ever knew of love.
although the last three lines aren't really true for me. i don't care if i'm redeemed or not because its not that a big deal that that person is hurt because of me. i don't have any obligations to him anyway.

Hmm well yeah sure. I guess there might be a few .. One is Life - Our Lady Peace .. The main chorus goes:
Life is waiting for you. Its all messed up but we'll survive. Oh life is waiting for you. Its all f*cked up but we're alive! Some others would be: Back To School (Mini Maggot) - Deftones, 7 Words - Deftones, and a lot of songs by Our Lady Peace and Incubus. Usually, they are songs generally with a lot of angst and anger and what not.

Many Christian songs and hymns come to mind as something that describes me or where I am at any given moment. Too many to list, I guess. But I also believe that "We've only just begun" by the Carpenters is my tune. Each day is a new opportunity, a new slate on which to write, a new canvas on which to paint.

Hi All,The song which discribes me very well is a song form a Hindi Movie(bollywood)"ROJA" is has composed by "A.R Rehman", A beatiful song.
Lyrics are
Dil hai chota sa
Choti si aasha, masti bhare maan ki,bholi si aasha, chand taroko chune ki aasha, asamano main udne Ki aasha.....
Meaning: My heart is small, i have a small innocent wish, i want to touch the sky and stars, i want ot fly in the sky.....
this is what my heart always wants and i love myself for this. This song discribes me and my nature. Still i am a small child in my heart.

Hi!I'm getting married really soon but as I told my fiance' few days ago, part of me tickles every time I remember how a boy sang "She's Always A Woman To Me" by Billy Joel and it goes like this.
She can kill with a smile
She can wound with her eyes
She can ruin your faith in her casual lies
And she only reveals what she wants you to see
She hides like a child
But she's always a woman to me
Chorus
Ohh.. she takes care of herself
She can wait if she wants
She's ahead of her time
Ohh..and she never gives out
and she never gives in
she just changes her mind
There it goes, I didn't realize that I'm actually like this girl until he said so. I'm a very independent, carefree and petite girl, you know:)

There is one that I just love. I sent a copy of it to my grandson because at the time he needed some emotional uplifting and told him I dedicated it to him from me. Sent one to my daughter too. It is called (Don't Give Up) You Are Loved by Josh Groban.
It plays on my profile, if you care to listen to it.

if there's a song that describes me, I think it's be Mutya Buena's "Real Girl"
"I never pretend to be something I'm not
You get what you see, when you see what I've got
We live in a real world, and I'm a real girl
I know exactly where I stand...
And all I can do is be true to myself
I don't need permission from nobody else
'Cause this is the real world, I'm not a little girl
I know exactly who I am" :)

Me too
Its called "you" by breaking benjamin, and it goes like this:
"promise me you'll try
to leave it all behind
'cause i've elected hell,
lying to myself
why have i gone blind
live another life"
very good song

Through the ages, men have written songs that describes their inner emotions, desires, and experiences. John Newton wrote the song "Amazing Grace" because of personal experience on the grace of God.
I too have a song that describes me and is entitled "He brought me out." "My heart was distressed in Jehovahs dread frown, and lo in the pit where my sins dragged me down. I cried to the Lord from the deep miry clay and He tenderly brought me out to golden day..."

yeah actually there is a song that discribes me pretty well.
i like your song btw.
even though i know its only chemical
these peaks and valleys are beginning to take their toll
try to convince myself that all it takes is time
but the most derisive voice i hear is mine
it opens all the scars on my
it leaves me shaken in my belief
it takes my hand just to drag me down
it leaves me a stranger in the crowd
give me isolation just for now
i can feel the hard rain coming down
i promise that i will be back soon
but for now ill return to my cocoon
there is thunder in the distance and the sky grows gray
there is lightning in the clouds in search of prey
its not matter of if, as much as when
the clouds will break and the rainfall will begin
and it goes on, :) its called cocoon by assemblage 23,
i like it because it has alot of deep meaning, and sometimes i just feel like going away for a while....like having a cocoon.
