BigCrumbs vs MyPowerMall

I joined MyPowerMall months ago. I would wager it was September or October last year. I have built a small downline, but I have not yet earned a penny.
I also am a member of BigCrumbs. Both work on the exact same principle, cash back shopping. With BigCrumbs I have 4 referrals. Now here is the interesting thing, I have made commission on 5 sales on BigCrumbs. It is only 11 cents... LOL, but still, it's nice to see that someone has found the benefit of using it. I think the major difference is the fact that eBay is involved with BigCrumbs.
Have any of you had success with either programs? I no longer actively promote either, they simply have a listing on my blog. But I will get to update my earnings for BigCrumbs which is really nice!!!

I've joined BigCrumbs, bought one thing from Office Depot and receive a cash-back of $1.08 which I still have sitting in my account. The reason this has not been sent to my PayPal account is because I have not fill out the tax information form.
Because of the lack of help I received from my referrer, I sent an email asking BigCrumbs to delete my account but they didn't.
I am now using Mr. Rebates which works in a similar way but it gives you a $2.50 sign up bonus and another $1 just for answering a 4 or 5 question survey. They also have coupons, and some of the cash-backs are not for a percentage but $20. Mr. Rebates has a minimum payout of $25 but they also have a check or a payment option and they do not require you to submit tax information.

Wow, Mr. Rebates sounds promising for you.
As far as providing tax information, when the sites are legit, I'm ok with providing this. I have done it in the past and will do it again. I wonder why they wouldn't delete your membership though, strange.

Thanks for adding that. It makes a lot of sense about having the shorter URL.

Looks like I am late here, but I have been a member of BigCrumbs for 2+ years now and love it! I've never had a problem. BigCrumbs does not require a monthly purchase. You shop as you want or need to. They have almost 500 retailers and growing every week! Retailers like eBay, iTunes, GoDaddy, GAP, Best Buy, GoDaddy, VistaPrint, Macy's & More! I use the program to not only shop and save some money that way, but I also refer members and make money when they shop. I made $370 for Nov. 2009. Take a look. I would love for you to join me! www.ShopCrumbs.com

I've heard much of the same concerning MyPowerMall, shop but no money.
I'm also with Big Crumbs and love the site. I don't shop more beacause of it, but I do search for supplies for my crafting on Ebay and have been doing that for over a year. But now I get cash back.
I needed to reorder business cards for the upcoming season and already had an account with Vista Print. Vista sent me a coupon good for 1 free item, which I used to reorder my business cards. All I had to do was pay the shipping, but since I did the deal through Big Crumbs, I received $1.75 back for doing the transaction.
Not a bad deal... 500 business cards for the price of shipping and $1.75 cash back!
Yea, I love Big Crumbs!!!

Sweet deal on the Vista Print order, creationsbyrobin! Can't go wrong with that! I'm still on the fence about MPM. I think it has a lot of potential, but it's hard to get people to see the big picture for some reason. I have an easier time selling people tangile products, moreso than a concept like MPM or Big Crumbs.
One reason to use BC is that they still use Vista Print. MPM dropped them due to a scandal started by a site that was trying to IMITATE Vista Print. It wasn't even Vista Print that cause the problems, but MPM dropped them anyway. I think Vista Print is great and does a lot of self employed people a huge service by offering affordable, professional business cards! Ha! They're beyond affordable, based on your experience!

It really is a nice site to navigate. You don't need to be computer savvy to make the site a ncie little source of maoney back and money earned...actually, you don't even have to shop, you can just refer people and make a nice little residual income for yourself.
I book a magazine subscription for a crafting magazine I have purchased before at the local WalMart. Issue is $3.99. Through Big Crumbs, I bought a 1 year (8 issues) for $12.00 and received $2.10 back, so my 8 issues will cost me $9.90. Paying store prices would cost my almost $12.00 for 3 issues and I just bought 8 issues for less than $10. I did something I normally do, but used Big Crumbs and saved myself a bunch of money )and now it comes to my house...no missing the issue or forgetting to pick it up) I wish I knew of this site last year around the holidays!

That is an awesome story!! Well done for you... it's all about being smart about your time and all of your purchases. To be honest, big crumbs is just much easier to navigate and much more eye appealing.

I haven't investigated BigCrumbs, but have looked over Power Mall. I don't think MPM is all that great and if BC is similar, then I would give both of them . I don't see any incentives for other's to shop through you. As for doing your own shopping online, I shop through MyPoints using their VISA for multiple points I trade for gift cards. I get additional points and rewards using the credit card for purchases outside of MyPoints and off-line too.

Yes, MPM is not near as good as BigCrumbs... and yes, a lot of people simply use other sites for their cash back shopping. The big incentive to use BigCrumbs is their eBay connection. A lot of people are interested in that.
Also, unlike point sites, if you are able to find referrals, I believe BigCrumbs goes down quite a few levels.

I am a member of both MPM an BC. Like you I have earned much more at BC. I went on a small vacation and booked a hotel on orbits through BigCrumbs and earned $8 for 2 night stay. I had already received a great deal at orbitz and this made it even better. BigCrumbs pays on time and it goes right into my paypal and I didn't even have to request it either.

I am a member of both and I hate MyPowerMall! I did all of my Christmas shopping through there and didn't make any money. I didn't realize you had to shop every month. I no longer promote it or even log in.
I LOVE Big Crumbs. I am always shopping on eBay so it is perfect for me. I have made $19 so far. Not that much but I now have 94 referrals below me so it should start going up a lot faster now. I referred 9 myself without even knowing it. I guess it was through my blog. I just logged in to BigCrumbs one day and saw my downline. That really motivated me to continue with it. Everyday I get 3 or 4 more referrals and I dont even bother promoting any more.
I also like the fact that there is no fee and no shopping requirements.

Hi, pkristie 7! I joined Big Crumbs ages ago under a friend of mine. I don't even have my login information anymore and I've probably changed emails like 3 times since then! LOL. Anyway, I was wondering about the ebay thing. Do you have to open a new ebay account through Big Crumbs, or do you get the credit/rebate/whatever, even if you are already an eBay member, as long as you go in through your Big Crumbs site? Thanks!

Thanks for posting. I am really loving Big Crumbs. I recently had some more people join under me and they have already made a purchase. I've been paid 11 cents (laughable, but they are a site that certainly does pay). And I have more coming because of the recent member.
But if the sites are similar, I can understand you using only one.
Oh, I want to add, the biggest feature about Big Crumbs is that you can do cash back shopping on eBay. I don't think there is another site that does this.
