For my 50th birthday, a friend gave me a target voucher. I decided to wait until winter clothes became available in the shops, & then spend it.
So yesterday I bought some of the loveliest pyjamas I have ever had.
They are Kitty Kat PJs. All made of thick flannette. The colours are a white background with black & red kittys.
I just love them. As I had a voucher I was able to spend more than what I usually do on PJs.
Hubby didn't seem that wrapped with them.
So what are you favourite kind of pyjamas?

Hi Jenny, it's funny that you've started this discussion because I was talking to my hubby about it a few weeks ago, like he was really listening HA! But I was telling him that it's strange how I can wear the terry cloth type of pajama bottoms at walmart but I can't wear the regular material type because they just don't fit right and neither do their shorts pj's but I can buy them from blair.com and they fit just fine. Target is pretty much the same way except that I can wear their shorts pj's. I wonder why is that? Also, I can't wear any shoes from walmart except for their earth shoes and that's it. All of the others have hurt my feet but I can wear target's shoes. Go figure?

You know, I have more & more of a problem with pj's (and jeans) every year. The sizes & fittings vary so much. These target pj's I bought, had a slinky under top with lots of cute kitties on it. There was NO WAY that would fit me. I gave it to my very skinny daughter.

I also love flanelette pyjamas. Just last week when I was holidaying at Bribie Island I found Peter Alexander pyjamas on sale for $15! Of course I bought them and I love them. They are so soft and warm. They are pink with 50s style cats all over them. I would never spend $50 on a pair of pyjamas (that's how much they were originally) so I was really excited when I scored them for $15! In the summer I love wearing boxers and a t-shirt.

I love great deals like this. I dont blame you for buying these pyjamas, and cat ones too.
In summer I wear those 3/4 pants that are made of very thin cotton & a large tshirt.
Hubby weasrs boxer shorts.

I had two favorite sets of pj's both long gone and I don't have a pair I would call favorite anymore. I wear long cotton nighties now mainly because they fit and are cool. I had a pair with a long baseball tshirt type top and draw string waist shorts. I particular liked them because I could run around the house in them and feel decent with all the kids around. My other pair was a set of slinky silky, though actually polyester, pj's in a big floral - they were long sleeved and long legs and nice and warm in the winter and again so nice to run around the house in. Menopause kicked in and I haven't needed warm pajamas ever since. Some of us just warm up I guess.

I know about menapause... hot, hot, hot.... I eventually took a natural product & this worked real well. So Ikn ow I am going to use winter Pjs.
Having a pair of pjs that are decent to wear around the house when you have kids is very important. My hubby has issues with this, as he only wears boxer shorts.

I am not too picky when it comes to PJ's. As long as they cover me so I am warm and comfortable, I am happy. Nothing that shows cleavage or buttox. I want to be completely covered so I can wear them all day if I feel like it. My PJ's are my favorite outfit!

Unfortunately I don't have a picture of my favorite pajama. Yes, I've got one. I have many pajamas but I have this blue one and have printe star on it in defferent colors. Well actually, star is my very favorite shape ever since. hehehe.. And blue is close to light blue which is my favorite color. that is why when I saw this pajama somewhere in the mall, I bought right a way. It wasn't sale that time but it's not expensive so it was really nice having it.

For cold nights I like warm flannelette PJs. I never wear PJs n the summer just a short night shirt (or old Tshirt).

I really don't have a favorite kind of pajama. I love to wear pajama's though. If I had to choose a favorite kind, it would have to be the ones that have the long sleeve, button up shirt and the pajama bottoms have to have the elastic band around them also.

Hi jennybianca! Wow! Those are lovely PJs, I do think they are really cute. My favorite PJs are given to me by my mother in law last Christmas. They are made from the softest cotton and it has flower prints in lavender. I just love flower prints. haha..
Happy 50th Birthday to you my dear friend! I wish you all the good things in life and more love and happiness surround you and your family for all time.
Just my thoughts my friend. Take care always and have a nice day! :)

i like to sleep in a tank top and soft cottony jammy pants...it is the most comfortable thing in the world...i will not wear anything scratchy to bed! My legs get too cold if i just wore a nightgown.
I don't really care what is on the jammy pants as long as they are soft, I found a pair at the thrift store i had to get because of how soft & worn they were - they have reindeer on them! my hubby and i tease each other that those are my "sexy" pajama pants!

Big T-shirts are very comfortable in bed. I dont know if that would be enough for me in winter.

I love warm pj's. In the wintertime I wear fleece. They are the warmest. In the summer months I tend to stick to a long t-shirt.

I don't often wear pyjamas... in fact I don't wear them at all these days. I wear strappy nighties because I don't like anything on my arms or legs.
The one pair of pyjamas I did have in my adult life, I bought myself. They were silk, with a strappy top, and green in colour, with beige lace around the v-neck. They were quite nice to sleep in because silk stays quite cool and feels soft against your skin.
Brightest Blessings.

there's nothing like new flannel in winter.mmmmmm
the satin ones are pretty, but it seems like it grabs the chill right off the air here, never warms up.

I had sating pjs for the past few years. Even though warm in bed, they are not so warm when wandering around the house. So my new flannette pjs will be much thicker.

I like silky pjs that don't get caught around my legs, middle or arms when I move around in my sleep.

I like a comfy camisole and a pair of long sweatpants. I also have a pink comfy robe that I like to cuddle up in. And, sometimes I will wear a thin, long-sleeved hoodie to bed if it is cold because I can't wear a sweatshirt or something thick because I will get to warm. But, when I craw into bed, I am usually wearing my camisole and panties. Sorry to be too specific but, I can't wear pants to bed because I toss and turn and they would end up wrapping all over me and maybe cut off my circulation. LOL!

I would love to have a nice camisole,. but the very pretty lacy ones usually show m,y fat stomach. I have been trying to find a camisole that is longish, to go over my tummy!

I love pajama bottoms with a t-shirt or a tank top. My two favorites are pink bottoms with two different logos. One is a mean looking cookie and it has the words "One Tough Cookie" and the other pair I have has the Chicago White Sox logo on it that my husband bought for me from Walmart. I did have another part that was dark blue with sheep and clouds on it but they got too small.
