I am not trying to be picky or criticise anyone, but there is a minor technical issue here.
If you have a link of any kind that you are putting in your discussion, you really should highlight it so that people can access it easily.
What is often happening, is that people often put in a link, say of a news article, but because they dont highlight it, people who wish to respond & read the article, have to copy it, put it in their browser. This gets to be a bit of a pain if the link is a very long one. It is even more difficult to copy if the rest of the discussion is directly above & below the link, ie,. no spaces.
This is what you do.
Leave a one line gap between your discussion & your link.
Put in the link.
Put your curser right at the very end of your link, & hit right click, or enter.
Your link will be highlighted. You wont see this when you write the discussion, but it will show as a blue colour when other people read it.
This then makes it very easy for people to view your link, by just giving it a quick click.
Just like this:

Ah you meant activate your links, not highlight. That confused me I was thinking that you wanted people to bold their links. Which for some reason on this site, you can't activate AND use the mylot code on a link

True. There are various aspects to My Lot that dont quite fit with coding & email procedures. Thanks.

Hi jennybianca! It is so seldom that I put a link to my discussions or responses but thanks for pointing this out. I am not sure if I did the right thing in highlighting my link before but at least now, I am sure of what to do if ever I need to put a link. Thanks for this. Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day!

I have copied & pasted peoples links, but it is a nuisance at times if it is not highlighted.

In my case... if i need to add a link to my discussion... i just copy the link and then paste it... it automatically highlights... aside for that... i also put a space between the discussion and the link... and i even write... "here is the link"...
It is so much easier for the reader that way... eventhough it entails a little more work for the creator of the discussion...

I agree. Your discussions are easy to read & any links are easy to check out.
I often want to check peoples links, but when I have to copy & paste... it's becomes a nuisance.
