Not Once But Twice Today!

I wasn't really for sure where to post this discussion, so I chose Life! I very seldom start discussions, but started one a few days ago titled "Did you know that you have a birthverse?" http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1473522.aspx I was really surprised earlier today when someone responded to the discussion and it was their very first post. Then just recently southernpal just responded to the discussion responded as their first post as well. So to both of you that made that discussion your first post in MyLot welcome to MyLot. So have you ever had someone respond to your discussion and it was their first post? I'm sure this is rare that this happens, but twice in one day is amazing.

The last I checked they hadn't responded to any other discussion yet. I hope they find out how much fun this place can be and post more.

I cannot say that I have but then I think that is ratherrare. I have had some respond that were probablysecond or third in responses but never their first one. that is rather interesting to think about.

I just wish they would be active though, neither one of them have posted anything else. I think I will send them a personal message and hopefully get them going.

I don't think I have ever had that happen before. I think it's really neat that their first post was done in your discussion.

That is great that someone new posted to your discusion about birthverse. I think it is really neat myself. I went through all of my families bithdays to see what their verse was.

Thanks for responding to both discussions. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that didn't know that there was a birthverse. Many of the responses that I got to the discussion had never heard of it before.

That is great. to be honest, I really haven't paid a whole lot of attention to whether or not it weas a persons first post or not. I know that is awful but lately, I have not noticed or made a point to look. I am sure many newcomers have made their first post to my discussions also. I do try to welcome all of them if it is in the subject area of the topic though.

Twice in one day does seem extremely rare! I'm sure I have had it happen although I think it has been quite a while. Now I will probably be paying extra attention to the post count of those who leave me responses.
