Ivana Trump getting married...good grief what a waste of money!

Just gotta laugh - I just heard on the news about Ivana Trump is getting married and she has 25 bridemaids....good grief, the guests will fall asleep by the time the bride shows up! And those that don't will forget why are they there....who's getting married? And you know the cost of this shin-dig is out of the universe and then in a few years they will divorce. What a waste of alot of time and money - but then again, it gave alot of vendors some probably much needed income!

lol I hope the one that is marrying them can stay awake can you imgine standing waitting for the wedding party to show up so he can began the wedding they will probary have to nudge him awake to get the ball rolling great post lol

What do you wanna bet whoever is preforming the ceremony doesn't even show up on the platform until they announce the bride is walking down!
He has to stand there all that time!

I honestly was never very excited about big weddings but I guess a lot of people like them. Now 25 bridesmaids... wow!!!!It would be like counting sheep to sleep LOL 1 bridesmaid.... 2 bridesmaides... 3....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well you know it is going to be the gold to every single late night comedy act. Throw in those shows about "the best/worst of this or that" and paparatzzi are going to go crazy and it will be the front cover of every magainze this side of Ranger Rick and Nick Jr! Saturation to the max!

They sure are opening themselves for this...problem is that soon after, they are going to start complaining about all the hoopla and who did what to whom and carrying on about what they had to "endure" and we will have to listen to all that?!?!?

That's where my first thought was - this "type" of marriage doesn't have a history of longevity! And when it is done, what a waster of money! Why don't she buy herself an island. At least she'd have something to show for her outlandishy behavior!

Since we are not a communist country, a rich person gets to use their money any way they want. She wanted a large wedding and she had the money so I am glad she had the wedding she wanted.

No one is calling communist. Good grief, of course she can spend her money anyway she wants. And be as gawdy and showy and self righteous as she pleases. I think it is a waste of money, especially since most of this "type" of marriages don't have a history of lasting very long! And yes, it could be the first one to last...but it is just a discussion, a chat, a fun relay of conversation on MyLot!

I hope it lasts . I like Ivanna and I want her to be happy.Funny I like The Donald too.It is great when you can like both sides of an divorced couple.

I know nothing about her other than the divorce and money thing. I like Donald on Apprentice, but other than that, don't have much an opinion of either. Money has never been an issue to her, never will be so I guess since all she knows about money is how to spend it, guess 25 bridesmaid is what she wants to spend it on.....wonder tho... usually the bridesmaids buy their own dresses - unless that has changed, wonder how much those dresses are going to cost! Course in her world, there are probably dozens of designers that would do it all for free so they could have "Ivanan Trump _________ wedding" added to their resume and portfolio!

Has nothing to do with her age. She could be 21 for all I care. What she is doing is just austentacious, and so over the top and overly showy and gawdy, it makes one think maybe she is only doing it for the show-up to Donald, not particularly cause it's her "dream" wedding.
