I am a landlord and I have a tenant that is a senior citizen he can has been taken to a relatives home because he cannot live alone anymore. His sons have moved into the house and think that they can stay there because it was the home the father rented month to month....I do not want them there what should I do?

There are a lot of website out there. One of the better ones is www.rentnet.com, you can check your local newspaper, most major rental companies have websites and check www.realtor.com.

Also, if they did not sign a new lease with you under their names or wereliested on the old lease, you don't have to allow them to stay in your home. I would give them a 30 days notice to vacate.

Tell them that since their father rented the home it does not belong to them after he moves out. Remind them that they do not have a contract with you. Tell them that if they would like to rent the property they need to submit an application just like everyone else because there are other people who would like to rent the house too. If they refuse to leave you will need to get the police involved. As they have no right to the property the police will remove them immediately(trespassing). Sorry about this unfortunate situation dealing with people's families can be really tough. Good Luck

Hi, executive1president: I'm Kay from NH/USA. Have you heard of Craigs List? It's a website with many categories..business opportunities, people looking for renting and buying homes, house-sitting, services rendered, etc. You choose your preferred state and look for the specific category. It's at http://craigslist.com I'm not sure I could suggest the right thing for your situation; however, do you know of any Assisted Living homes in your area where the senior citizen can live, or retirement/nursing home that you can suggest to the relatives? Hope this helps a little. Take care! Kay
