Well die of embarassment any way. She calls me on the phone telling me the story in such a serious voice. She went on to say.. I had to go to New York for work and on my flight back we hit bad weather and the plane was jerking all over the place. She told me how the flight was delayed and then when the got to Chicago they had to circle for 45 minutes. I said oh honey I am sorry still trying to figure out why she thought she was going to die. She says she started feeling sick. The young man next to her she says was just a bit older then her.. she is 23. Well this young man sees that she is moving around and turning pale. He asked her if she was ok. She said I am not feeling well I don't suppose they will let me get up to go to the bathroom. He said no they won't let us up while we are circling the airport. She said she was thinking don't get sick don't get sick. Finally the young man said to her if you have to get sick you have to get sick just do it. Well that was all it took and she threw up in the bag. She couldn't stop she said even though she knew if she was in his spot she would be getting sick too. She was so embarassed over the whole thing plus then had to get on another plane to get back home. Now I it was really hard not to laugh. I just kept saying oh honey I am sorry. I was really trying not to laugh. She said well mom if that was you sitting next to me their wouldn't be enough bags. At that I burst out laughing. I couldn't help it. She started laughing too. Bless the heart of the young man sitting next to her. Have you ever had a seriously embarassing moment in front of others?

Yes, I have, about 15 years ago I had a boyfriend, and he was a cricket player and one night at the end of the season there was a party, so we went along and it was good fun and everything was fine. I went to the bar to get us some drinks and I could hear my boyfriends voice behind me and so I put my hand back and found his leg and started rubbing my hand up and down his leg and to his bits and I did this for a few minutes and then someone appeared at the side of me and I looked to see who it was and it was my boyfriend. So, ok if you are there then whose leg am I rubbing, I turned round to see that it was one of his mates legs I was rubbing!! I was really embarrassed, and will never forget it as long as I live!!!

That would have been funny to hear. Poor thing. I can't say that I have been embarrased in a very long time. I tend to not be embarrased about anything because I'm very clumsy and things just tend to happen to me for no reason. I just laugh them off. There is never a day that goes by that something doesn't happen. If you've ever seen Good Luck Chuck, I'm just like Jessica Alba in that movie. Not quite as bad but close. Like the other day I was at work. I had just got there. I was making sweet tea and I couldn't find the bucket we keep the sugar in. Well I found it and I couldn't see if anything was in in because it was on a really high shelf. I pulled it down and there was some kind of brown soda in it. It got in my hair and all my clothes. I just laughed my butt off. Today I was drinking some sweet tea when I went to pick up my glass, it slipped and I got it all in my apron. Crazy, funny things just happen to me everyday. Anyone reading please go ahead and laugh. I did.

LOL that is such a cute story
I don't think I have one that can beat hers. lol
I did however trip and fall and rammed my right shoulder into the concrete at the DMV in front of about 20 or so people. lol
That was 3 years ago.
The young man is right, if you have to be sick, don't hold off....you can actually die if you do.

Too many! I feel for your daughter but it's something that can't be helped! My granddaughter gets sick when they fly! My daughter carries extra large bags with them with a zip lock on it! LOL....but I did once ride a tilt a whirl...while getting off one person got sick and threw up and it was a chain reaction.....they had to close the ride to clean it up! LOL....I did not however join the hurling group.....I plugged my nose and hurried off! LOL

oh can I relate to that. I thought I was going to die too. I was out shopping for a typewriter ribbon for an old typewriter and stopped at a Jack in the
Box for a hamburge and some fries. well I had to take several busses to get back home. each time I got on the bus my stomach felt worse and worse. so I kept telling myself just get home then if you have to vomit you will be alone. But just as I got off the last bus which was only about a third of a block from my apartment I got really sick. I stepped off the bus and heaved in the gutter in front of four or five people waiting to get on the bus.this one old lady looked at me in disgust and said you are getting sort of old to be drinking like that young woman. then she climbed on the bus.I know my face wa scarlet and I was totally embarrassed. I do not drink much at all and I was actually probably a bit older than the elderly woman who had scolded me. When I got home and told my son about he really laughed.and I had to laugh too. that lady thought I was the worst drunk ever.

Oh that's horrible! When I was on a plane on my way home from Florida, I felt awful. I get motion sickness, so I was constantly taking that little chewable pill they give you just in case you have that problem. My ears would pop constantly too. Even if I were to have to get up and run to the bathroom, I couldn't, because I was far too dizzy to even stand.
I would be very embarrased had that happened to me, I'm sorry she had to go through that. At least she had a nice person there to help her through it.
