Death note?

Alot of people are watching death note, and I'm wondering what I'm missing? Is it any good? I've liked a few animes (trigun, cowboy bebop, inuyasha, magical shopping arcade abenobashi, samurai champloo, detective Conan, Full metal alchemist, Bleach etc. etc.) And I've hated a few (NARUTO!!!) so I wanna know if it is worth catching this show or not. What do you guys think?

Well, i liked it and if you like suspense and mystery, trying to figure out how things happen, you'll probably like this anime too, go watch a few episodes and see if you're hooked! ;)

Its a thriller anime and it combines some detectivism in it (plus counter-detective thoughts on the other end). You'd have to see it yourself though.

I love the way it skips forwards past details and then comes back to them so that you end up thinking, trying to figure out what is actually going on. It also helps that the main characters (not all the mainish ones, I mean the two MAIN ones, Light and L) are very clever and you never really know who has the upper hand or what they will do next.
