I feel thankful that we can again use our blender, we all need some refreshments with this type of climate we are having right now..
My favorites would be, fresh mangoes and melons (cantaloupe). I sometimes make some tapioca shakes too, all home-made.

Sorry it took me so long to respond to your comment, am having troubles with my internet connection this past few days.
Tapioca is what we call here as "sago" that I kinda thought of adding them to my very own version of Zagu! shakes, since we have pandan (fragrant screwpine) leaves here that grows in our backyard garden.

Oh, I see. Yeah, I remember when Zagu was really famous here. My cousin and I buy one everyday after school. My favorite is their buko pandan flavor.

That's funny, those are my favourite too! When I go back home I enjoy drinking all the fresh fruit juices and those two are my favourite. The other fruit juice that I recently tried was strawberry and that was heavenly.

Hi there podqueen!
That's great. Well, my five year old son loves strawberry shakes and strawberry drinks too. He drinks Nesquik's strawberry drink like two times a day.
Thank you very much for your response.

i like mango and melon. but i don't like regular fruit shakes, i want fruit shakes with tapioca balls (or sago in filipino). i'm really craving for zagu right now. i could still remember, having brain freeze when sipping the shakes thru a huge straw and bitting into the tapioca balls...very refreshing...

i think anything berry would work for me, though i don't mind just an orange julius either, in summer went it is super hot i don't think it matters what it is as long as it is nice and cold, lol

I love fruit shakes. My very favorite is mango shake. I also love green mango shake especially with lots of milk. It's so yummy. It's perfect for the summer. There's some store nearby my building who sells fruitshakes but sometimes they're out of mango flavors.

Hi there MGjhaud!
I love mango shake too. I love green mago shake because it's sweet but with a kick.
So if they're out of mango, what do you buy then?
Thank you very much for your response.

Oh, I love watermelon too. It's my favorite fruit and flavor. It's so refreshing to drink or eat, and it tastes really delicious. It also contains a lot of water that's why it's so hydrating, which makes it perfect for summer.

GREEN MANGO SHAKES!!! oh, where can I find it here? All the mangoes here are imported from south america and they are not the same as the ones I used to have back there. I like the green mango shakes from Kamayan Restaurant and Barrio Fiesta. They are superb.

Yup, summer's here and what is more refreshing than a tall glass of fruit shake. It's fun to make shakes during summer because fruits are very abundant. My favorites are mango, sour sop (guyabano) and melon (cantaloupe) shakes.
