We will be doing some major household repairs we need to do to our Condo so we can get it listed for sale. Then we will also take care of one other Bill or two, and then go from there. I have been out of work for almost a week due to Sore Throat, Cough and Larygitis, so we might need some of the $$ for groceries, etc. as well. If we have any left over, we will probably put some in Savings, but who knows if that can happen until it happens.

we will be paying ahead our household bills such as telephone, tv (cable/satellite), electric, gas, and water. We always do this with our regular tax checks and pay all these ahead for one year. That way we only have a mortgage, car payment, and insurances each month. However this year, we had to use most of our tax money to get our home out of foreclosure (because my husband was off work twice last year, once hospitalized with a staph infection, and then 5 months later he tore the cartlidge in his GOOD knee and was out for 2 1/2 months). We already have savings accounts, retirement, etc. so we always use this extra money for utilities so that we are not living paycheck to paycheck each week.
Thats our plan anyway.

I considered stretching it by purchasing gift cards at a local grocery store that is giving 10% bonus back, then over the next few months, whatever, the grocery bill came to put it in savings or towards something else. In the end I think we'll put 10% in savings, 10% towards charity and then the rest will go towards our never ending home addition project.
