I just joined them today, so only have one article so far. How are your articles doing there? How are your earnings?

Welcome to Triond, then! I like Triond. If you like to write, then Triond provides a great avenue to publish your work online. I have only started writing in late January. My articles has generated some money. Some articles are more popular and generate more money while others are not so popular and generate only a few cents each month. My March earnings came to about $4+, not much but you must remember that the articles will generate money as long as you don't delete them and as long as there are people reading them, even months down the road. I have heard people getting thousands and thousands of page views. One thing you have to do is promote your articles elsewhere like through social bookmarking sites, social networking sites or your own blogs (if you have one!). E-mail all your friends and relatives. I did this until I was almost banned from one of the networking sites, LOL. Not very funny, actually. Since then I seek other ways to promote my articles. You can check out my profile page at http://www.triond.com/users/Sydney+Hazelton. Add me as a friend at Triond and we can check out each other's articles from time to time. Will add you as a friend in MyLot as well.

Hi Alaskaice,
I have added you as a friend in Triond and read you poetry on You are. It's very nice! Makes me feel calm.

I'm really bad at writing, so I haven't written any articles for Triond. What I do use Triond for is submitting photos! I've been a member since February 2008 and so far I've submitted a little less than 300 photos.

So far they seem to be going well! I've been getting lots of pageviews every month and making a few bucks here and there! Since I don't write any articles, I'm not sure how the earnings compare- if articles tend to make more than photos or if photos make more of they're about the same. I think it would be interesting to hear from someone who does both photos and articles to see which they have more success with!

300 photos? Why don't you just sell them at some websites? Some magazines might use them, you know? I wanted to try submitting photos I don't have the proper gadget to do so. What are the requirements? Must the photo be of certain resolution or something. I really have no idea.

I mainly post photographs there. I have submitted a few poems but not any feature articles. I post those at Associated Content. For those of you that use Triond on a regular basis, how is the payout for articles? Is it as good as AC, better, worse? I'd love to see some feedback on this.

I recently joined and don't have many articles up. I only got 2 at this moment. Been taking a bit of a rest after that reward-a-thon because right now I think I'm drained for ideas. I have to admit, I'm mostly a sports writer and that seems to be my primary target. I don't know how popular it is with the site but that's my major strength.
I'll probably start picking up more once I get some ideas and also other jobs don't come to me but wants to keep earning though.
Here's a link to my profile: http://www.triond.com/users/Bruce+Bostwick
I'll add people to build a network and try to read everyone's articles but I can't guarantee it though because I never know what is going to happen on a daily basis.

I made $960 on the reward-a-thon. Basically I went like a machine and wouldn't stop and kept on going. It was the hardest thing I have ever done. Would I do it again? Yes. I'll probably write some more at Triond once I generate some more ideas and complete my one project. Once I get that settled, I shall go from there.

I haven't written anything for them yet. I have kind of an aversion to writing and so far I have only posted my drawings there. I think there is better earning potential with writing though.

Hi Restlesslimbs,
If you feel that drawing is better for you than writing, then go ahead. Whatever suits your fancy. I was thinking of getting a new cellphone with better camera resolution so that I could upload some photos. But since you say that there is better earning potential with writing, then I'll stick to that and maybe post my photos elsewhere.
