I've lost 25 out of the 50lb goal I set back in January. Im very proud of myself and Im in it for the other 25lbs, but sometimes I find my will power/motivation running short. Any advice? If you have any motivational weight loss stories they'd be appreciated as well.

hello samantha,
congratulations on such a great loss amazing! i have not yet in a point that i needed to lose that much weight but when i was trying to lose some weight, i just look in the mirror and remind myself or check my photos back then and that helps me renew my motivation coz it is not easy to say NO to yummy foods
oh, i am not sure if this will work for you but i remember, i think it was last month, i am watching ellen degeneres show and there is a man who says you can lose weight easy all you need to have is will power.
he then ask the lady to think about what is the food she hates the most and imagine eating it, imagine her chewing it slowly and the smell of it and everything about the food she hates.
think about it 10x in a row before she have the meal she wants to eat.
NOW when she is about to eat whatever she wants to eat after her thoughts you try to imagine again what the taste of the other food she just thought 10x
i guess you can imagine how that goes, i did tried it and it sure lingers and i cant even eat what i want to eat that time (i tried it on my own for experiment purpose only)
anyway, hope others give you a better idea and help other than what i can share.
takecare and good luck again i know you will make it

i tried his psychology and it sure makes me fight the cravings.

takecare and good luck!

Congrats on the weight loss. My daughter and I are losing weight together. This has made it a lot easier to stay focused on eating right. We have both lost weight.
My goal is 15 pounds, so I can get into a smaller size. I have lost 4 pounds so far and feel much better. My daughter has lost 6 pounds and is quite excited. We realize that there is no quick fix and by exercising and eating right we can lose weight the right way.
I have tried losing weight in the past by myself and found it really hard to stay focused. If you know somebody in your area that is losing weight, then you might work out with them once a week or have a meal with them.
My daughter and I eat several times a week together and talk about ways to make meals taste good without adding a lot of calories. Food has always been what we have reached for when something was wrong. We are doing better at reaching for a better choice like a good book to give us comfort.

Just stay focused on your goal. If you stop, all that hard work would be for nothing and you could end up gaining weight away. Be proud of what you have achieved and use this thinking to motivate you. Set yourself a goal e.g I want to lose 2 pounds this week, and go for it.
Good luck!
