Do you use quotes on your scrapbook pages?

When I first started scrapbooking I put a poem into one of my layouts. It helped fill the page and completely fit with the mood of the subject. Since then I have been using poems and quotes in my scrapbooking and other papercrafting projects. Does anyone else do this too?

I use quotes in mine. Not on every page and some pages I will use more than one. I bought a book with quotes in it and when I did my Mom's scrapbook for her birthday I used a lot of the love quotes on the page with her and my stepdad's wedding picture.

I bet your mom loved the scrapbook you made for her. I don't think I've every used more than one quote at a time on an actual scrapbook page. (Only when I've made little quote books for people.) I'll have to remember that when doing a special layout.

I don't really do scrapbooking the traditional way. I use powerpoint to do it so it's just like scrapbook where I paste different photos and background that I can find in the internet and do my own write-up then print it. I don't usually use "quote" but I make my own and write my own poems to. I just hate cutting and pasting using glue and paste that is why I use my computer in scrapbooking.

That's a great idea to use powerpoint. It's wonderful that you write your own poems. I'm too shy to incorporate anything I've written in my scrapbooks, so I just use other people's writtings and give them the credit.

That reminds me of a friend of mine - she would find quotes in magazines and give them to me. I agree that it's fun to include quotes.

You know when I first started scrap booking, I didn't think it was all that important, but since then I have changed my tune...I have started putting dates, and little paragraphs about the time and place of the photo. I bought poems too, to go along with my pages that I made, but I haven't had the chance to use them yet.
