Using mylot at its best... what's the secret?

The first reason I have to be honest is because I need the money. I belong to many groups and they are all equally as nice with a sense of community, but I am using this one more because it pays.

Its several things for me. I won't lie the money is a great incentive. Its also the validation I get from having my posts receive responses. Everyone likes to think that what they have to say is important and when people respond it helps to validate that. Its also the friends I have made here. I have several friends that I truly treasure, that answer to almost every single one of my posts, that support me in all I do and who I am glad mylot gave me the opportunity to meet.

Well basically it may be the earnings that draws me here more yea , it is always good for me to participate in discussion and earn some easy money while i am free yea .

I'm not sure how to make Mylot the best. I use it daily and I do the same things most of the time. My earnings fluctuate alot here and I have no clue why it is. I think it has to do alot with Mylot's daily commissions they bring in. I like the friends I have made here and the earnings here are pretty good too just for typing.

Hi jeanniemay! That is so, so true! I come in here for the same reasons. I usually go first and see all my friends' discussions..really great to feel connected. Learning a lot each day and making friends is what makes mylot great. The friendship that is being build makes it more worthwhile. And what makes it more enticing somehow is the added earnings, although not big for an income, it is still something that can perk you up at the end of the month. But most especially, the reason why I do come here each day is because of the people here who are so kind and understanding and who are always willing to be a helping hand or a guiding light. I keep coming here because I am forced to against my will.............by all the wonderful people who I have met through discussions, I have never met so many nice friendly people and so I just cannot stay away otherwise I feel like I am abandoning them!! I too have learnt a lot on here, like for instance I have learnt what a troll is! I have learnt lots of interesting and useful things, I have learn a lot about myself too. Its great.

haha... i seen someone say she was forced to come here agains her will... that is so funny... I wish I had jokes like that to come up with!!! I come here for the friendship, learning and the connection to others. I think mylot is great!

I keep coming back for the friends I have made on MyLot. I have learned many things and I feel like I have been able to help a few people with problems also. I never would have thought that I would fool with making friends over the internet, but MyLot changed that for me. I have met one person in particular on MyLot that I consider to be a very close friend.

There was a time when I stopped using myLot for about three months. Later on I realized there's something that I really miss. That was when I decided to become active here again. I appreciate the learnings I get from every discussion. I also feel blessed to have a lot of friends here in myLot.

Hello there jeanniemay. I think that mylot is best for friendship and networking most definitely. I read an article whereby there's a mention on social networking sites like this forum and others are for "loners" of the world to unite and meet under a platter. Well, I kind of agree and don't agree to that. I don't think that mylot members are loners for a start. Though we go here to pass our time or to earn money or to gain experiences etc, there's this "pull factor" here that even though we know the earnings aren't that much, we are still here. That shows a lot. That shows that mylot members are not necessarily and purely materialistic and we are here because we love being here. For all the different reasons, we are here and I suspect that the sense of connection with one another is very strong here in mylot and I dare to say that there isn't any other website quite like mylot. The concept of other forums are more not so worldwide and kind of restricted to a certain topic or region etc. So my best reason for being mylot would be the fact that I choose to be here rather than elsewhere. Rather than any other forums out there. In mylot, I can just let my "hair" down, be myself and strut my stuff, ha! Have a nice day there.

well, lots of fun that is why i am here everyday. the topics that caught my interest, the friendship i earn plus the bonus (the money) i learn to express my feelings, improved my English and typing skills to name a few.

What keeps me coming back is the people I established good relationship with, the knowledge I gained and the enjoyment it brought everytime I read people's discussions and responded to some. Its quite fascinating to share thoughts with strangers and exchange ideas over some matters. If I am so depress I check mylot and do some posting, some people responses make me smile and lighten up my mood.

You know I have never been one to sit on the internet. But since I have come to mylot, I have to say it is kinda addicting. I love to get on here and chat and do discussions. Its very relaxing and I enjoy it.

i come in here for 3 reasons, learn english, make friends and get a lot of useful and interesting things. i think mylot is great.
