Have you had a teacher that belittled you?

When I was at school i had a teacher that said I could not express myself properly when I did my essays. This stayed with me for years and years, I began to live that lie and it took me a long time to stop believeing that it was really true. teachers have a huge influence on their students and consider what kind of effect that they have and how powerful their words are. I always wanted to write as a career and never allowed myself to do it as i thought was'nt good enough to do it. I am pleased to say that despite this, I am a published author of three books. Have you overcome something that a teacher said about you?

That is very poor. I think both you and your teacher have a right to your own points of view, but a difference of opinion should not determine whether or not one receives detention! It's not your beliefs were disturbing or harming anyone else in such a way that would require punishment!

When I was in college days, there is one particular teacher that doesn’t believe in my capabilities. But I proven her wrong, I never feel down and it is a challenge for me to boost myself up. In fact, she practice favoritism in class and I don't like it.

I did, but I proved that they are wrong. Some teachers perceived their students in a wrong way.
