Do you believe that a great basketball player does not mean a great coach? This happens to Knicks coach. And here's the banner of the news today:
NEW YORK (AP)—Isiah Thomas was fired as coach of the New York Knicks on Friday after a season of listless and dreadful basketball, a tawdry lawsuit and unending chants from fans demanding Thomas’ dismissal.

o yeah, i believe that, because when u play as a player, you only stick to your own style, unlike as a coach, u have to consider all the player's style and also the other side or the opponent. Isaia was remembered as a great player, now its sad that its a total waste and turned around to loose that great reputation he has earned as a cager.

yea it can be! we have different skills and ability. Somebody is expert on playing as a center, others are forward. Of course some coaches not good in playing basketball. But the coach they hired have both ability and skills. If the coach more on theory lesser in actual seems to be lacking.
