Watch bamboo shoot as it grows

REally?thats ho9w fast it grows?I know they can get to be as big as 4 story buildings but I didnt know they get to grow that fast. Is it kinda like watching paint dry? or maybe watching cheese get moldy over a period of time? Anyway thanks for the tidbit. Learned something agina in myLot. Never ceases to amaze me. hehe Waht about you? what are the things you learned in mylot?

I have never tried this sort of thing... but i read once that bamboo shoot grow quite faster than any ordinary plant... i think when i get the time... i will try watching a bamboo shoot grow... i just hope i won't fall asleep in the process... thanks for sharing this... quite interesting...

I didn't know you can actually see it grow. I have some bamboo shoots in water that are getting pretty tall. Do you have any idea how to start a new shoot from one that is getting too tall? I'd like to get some starters from the ones that I have.
