I guess this should be called I love ethnic food because I love Asian, Indian Food, Turkish and Arabic food (Lebanese, Afghan, Moroccon). There's a Morrocon place which is really nice where you can eat a 9 course meal and I love the vegetarian variety. Me and my boyfriend used to frequent buffets once a week when he was off from work but now we spread things out. Has anyone ever found a a buffet with Arabic food, this is something I would really like because I love carmelized carrots, baba ghanouj, hummus and their rice is out of this world.
There was once a Turkish buffet called the 'Meditterian' Buffet but they no longer have it and turned it into a little food market. I do not get to eat that much Turkish now that we do not live close to my bf mom and I miss having some good home cooking. I try to make the recipes and sometimes I do nail it but in my mind its still not the same.

Italian food was one of my very first 'ethnic' foods (although many italians would probably beg to differ on this one). I ate it religiously while in my late teens since I didnt know about much else. Eventually I begun to see a connection with the weight, i was a VERY active person but still very chunky--that was the end of Italian for me. I like Mediterranean and i know that is closer to real italian food but you just dont find it around here.

I love Asian buffets. I also like Indian because of the variety of vegetarian dishes. I don't think I've ever tried Moroccan or Turkish buffet but would love to try it since it has vegetarian options.
I love baba ghanouj and hummus and occasionally make them at home.

I live in an Asian country and grew up with asian cuisine. I love most of the especialty here. I like other cuisine too such as French and Italian. I've tried Indian but not much of my taste. And I would also love to try Arabic. Wonder what's their especialty..

French, thats one I don't see much, other than French bread in the grocery store, wouldn't even know it if it hit me in the forehead.
I like Dim Sum because of my boyfriend eating it often.
Dumplings with lots of scallian are my favorite--scallians are so unappreciated but their taste are excellent for so many dishes. I love lots of scallians in my Tabouli salad.

Since I am a Chinese, so I often have Chinese food. Therefore, I like to try something new. Indian and Arabic food are delicious. But in my opinion, Arabic food has more roast meats which I am very interested in. I like this way to cook. And I hardly have Arabic food because it's not so popular here yet. So I will choose Arabic buffet because of this reason.
