5.2 Earthquake In Illinois; Felt 450 Miles Away

If you live in Illinois, you KNOW there was an earthquake there. It was not a little shaker either at 5.2. But did you know that neighbors up to four hundred and fifty miles away from you felt the earthquake too?

I find it simply amazing that Earth can spread her shakes over such a wide area.

Illinois is not the only area in the United States or the world feeling the wiggles of Mother Earth right now as most are aware.

In the United States, the wiggliness is concentrated in California and Alaska. The maps look like cluster zones. There are other quakes scattered through out the rest of the U.S. too.
