Here in Houston we rarely have "winter". We might have a couple of days of cold, but rarely do we have ice or snow.Right now we have just about finished our "spring". We had a couple of weeks of nice weather where we did not have to use either the ac or the heater. Now that is apparently over. It is again humid and the temperatures are again rising to mid eightys. I really think I would like a little change like maybe a day or two of snow. Then again people in Houston dont drive well on good days muchless snow!

I was born in Michigan and spent several years growing up there and Winter can seem to last forever up there. It's beautiful and I loved it but man, you get to aching to see some Spring weather coming.

I love winter. I learned to drive in Buffalo, NY so I know how to handle a car in snow. I also know that nobody should be driving on ice. I moved from Washington, DC to the West Virginia mountains a few years ago because DC doesn't get much snow anymore. Of course the first year I got here it didn't snow much. Bummer. Last year it was nice, tho. Not enough, but better than nothing. I'm looking forward to lots of snow this year.
