star rating and what am i doing wrong?

I sure wish I could explain it all to you but I have no clue either. I lost alot of points and earnings this week and I have no idea why either. I wrote to Mylot also but no response from them as of yet. My star rating hasn't been affected yet but that may come sooner or later.

I think it is a little bit of everyone this is happening to. My score went down a little also. I don't think it is you or anything. I have read other posts with this same problem. I am a 10 right now. I am expecting to go back down to a nine though. The way everyone else in here seems to be having thier rating go down.

Everyone goes through these things. Their star drops and they figure someone has gotten mad at them and - rated them all over the place. Don't let it get to you. Just keep on with your day and ignore it. I know there have been ppl that have quit MyLot b/c their star has dropped which, to me, is silly. It's just a star after all. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Hi Patsie, that seems crazy... I think you definitely deserve a 10. But the rating system is broken despite how myLot insists otherwise. Did you step on someone's toe recently? It might be that someone and her friends gang up and have a field day down-rating you. I really don't know but I always give you pluses for your discussions and responses...

Hello Hatley!:-) I am really sorry that you are one among those who are hit the most. I have never seen you flaming or calling any nasty names, and so, I don't see that you deserve any of such negativity. You have been very straightforward and have been doing your best to be polite, still getting this treatment is beyond me actually. Since this problem broke out last week, I have contacted mylot for 6 times, for some problems that I am having but I have not got any response either for over a week now, so you are not alone there either! When this problem started, I, or anybody for that matter, could predict that who among users would be getting the brunt of the negativity of these trolls. I have to admit that I wasn't expecting such harsh blow against you! And, I can't really understand why you are targeted. I hope you get your star rating rise fast and quick!:-)

it happens to a lot of mylotters here, so dont need to worry and it happen i think for doing some unwanted discussion here so the ranking comes down. this is all about i know .

I don't think the star rating matters. Don't worry about it. There are always going to be some people who down-rate others just because they don't agree with that persons opinion.

here it is... i am in the same situation as yours. i am down from 97 to 69 in 3 days in terms oif reputtaion. so are my stars. i am down by huge margins in most of the interest ratings. i think soem trolls are doing this on purpose. but what they are earning?

Ignore it, soon or later that star will up again :D

There must be somebody, who read your previous postings or comments and give you a negative ratings (-). But don,t be bothered about it, trials are given to those persons who has the ability to outstand it, just go on and play along.

I don't think you are doing any thing wrong friend, but i suggest that we should work on mylot and let them worry about the stats and the ratings etc. Wish u good luck in future.

i think it has something to do with the rating system with the server of mylot.everybody has the same complaint of losing ratings and also deletion of posts!but your case of being down to 6 from 10 and 9 earlier makes me feel scared too.don't worry much because everybody is facing the same problem so it might just get rectified.all the best to you!!

i know lot of peoples making hug money through mylot. if really such a great effort

Well i think you might have offended someone that are trying to give negative marks whenever you post something yea , it is unavoidable but try to be positive as i believe members here and mylot admin will recongnize your hardwork if your posts prove to be quality yea .

Sorry that people here have came across this happening to them. I am thankful that I have never had that happen to me. I've never lost my blue star 10 once that I got it and that wasn't too long after I received my star rating. That sure is a drastic drop that you took. Was any of your dicussions deleted? I don't know if that has anything to do with the star rating or not.

I doubt you are doing anything wrong,hatley. there is someone on here going around and just rating everyone negative for whatever reason. You aren't alone in this one. If you read thru the discussions you'll see tons of others that are going thru the same thing. chin up!

How do you find out your rating? I didn't know we were. This must be my learn something new everyday thing. LOL

I think its not a new issue. Many of members have this problem..But your back in six so be happy now.
