So to everyone who responded to my "I'm so excited, 16 day count down post", the 16 days has come and gone. My husband was supposed to have left Iraq last Wednesday, but he's still there. This is really stressing me out because yesterday was the day that I was supposed to go and pick him up and finally be able to see my husband. Of course, it was a HUGE let down knowing that he wouldn't be there and that I couldn't go get him. He called today to tell me that he's still there and doesn't know when he'll fly out now. Uggggghhhhhhhhh....I'm so aggravated right now. I've been telling my kids over and over that daddy will be home Friday and put a sign in the yard welcoming him home and then i had to tell my children that I didn't know when he was coming home now, which totally messed them up. Sorry, but I just had to rant for a few minutes. Thanks for listening. God bless

Aw...I'm so sorry! I was thinking about you today- that I hadn't really seen you around lately- and not remembering dates I thought maybe he was home already. Then I saw you respond to a message and...here I am to see your sad news.
I cant imagine the let-down and especially for the kids because they probably just don't understand...it's hard enough for an adult to even begin to understand it!
Hope he is on his way home soon. ((hugs))

How come I'm not surprised? When it comes to the military life, it's always hurry up and wait. Sweetie I'm so sorry. I really and truely am. But one thing you have to be thankful for and that is, at least he's still alive. So many spouses aren't so lucky. I don't mean to pop your bubble hon, not at all but trying to get you to look on the bright side instead of the dark side, ok? Keep thinking on the positive side and soon he'll be home and in your arms once again. Bless you.

Oh No! What a big let down for not just you but for the whole family. I know how excited you have been and you must be feeling real lousy right now. Big hugs of love, hope you get to hold him in your arms soon. God Bless. Ellie :D
