Yesterday it was a very hot day here in my country... whew....it's hot....
My daughter make a mango shake with carrot yesterday with lots of ice. It's refreshing fit to drink when it's very hot.
And now I put a can of pineapple juice in the freezer to make it ice and now it is cold hmmmmm delicious....
How about you guys any preferred drinks when it's summer?

Hey, you guys!!!
What I would do is that I will mix in pure yogurt, crushed ice, peaches, pineapples, oranges, bananas, and banana, pineapple, and orange juice combo. I use the blender to do this. This is called pineapple, banana, and orange smoothie. Before drinking, freeze it for a while. That will be great!!!

Hi lynboobsy! Wow, mango with carrots? never tasted that kind of shake before! So how does it taste? I do like having my ice cold banaba tea, a herbal drink that I have been into for the past months now. Very healthy drink in my opinion! Just my thoughts dear friend! Take care and have a nice day!

In the summertime, my favorite drinks are orange juice, fruit punch, the mixture of pineapple, banana, and orange juice, and all other cocktails. They are always the best in the summer. I would add crushed ice. Especially when I do go to a beach. While in the wintertime, I drink hot chocolate mixed in with coffee.

Fresh coconut, that's what I prefer mostly. But when it comes to shake, nothing beats mango for me..
We do have our very own Halo-halo, with lots of fruits in it. There is a place here in Cavite, where they make those special drinks. Tourists would even come and drop by, to taste and give Halo-halo a try.

My family loves iced tea in the summer. I have never liked it though. I prefer lemonade; especially strawberry lemonade.
I am not a big water drinker but I try to drink it a little more when it is hot outside.

We love "Halo-Halo" for summer. For some peeps who don't know it, you can look on the pictures.
I think the description on the picture and below will tell you why I love it!
Halo-halo (from "halo" = mix) is a favorite Filipino dessert or snack. It is basically a mixture of sweet preserved beans(red beans, chick peas), coconut meat (macapuno), jackfruit (langka), pounded dried rice (pinipig), sweet yam (ube), cream flan (leche flan), shreds of sweetened plantain (saba), filled with crushed ice, milk (or coconut milk) and topped with ice cream. The halo-halo basically is sweet, creamy, and a filling dessert.
Oh... You can add an icecream on the top! hehehe

i would go for a watermelon shake and that really would quench my thirst and would make me relax under the sun. wow, i could imagine myself under a coconut tree by the beach and sipping that watermelon shake.

I enjoy a fruit shake, as it makes me feel better when its hot. Mine would be strawberries, as there are lots of them grown in California and some melon. If bananas are available and reasonably priced, then I would add some.

I like to drink alot of tea or lemonade in the summer. It gets very hot here in Indiana also and tea and lemonade is good to drink to quench your thirst. It also helps to rehydrate the body also. I drink water or Gatorade sometimes too.

Well, to be honest, today my preferred drink is the Mojito. I had not tried this drink before, but --- well, it was a trying day and it was a Mojito or chocolate. I decided to try the Mojito. I have to say, it goes down well. :)
