Another poor result yesterday for Man u as we were lucky (imo) to get a draw. Brad Fridel got the man of the match award as he pulled of some amazing saves to keep the game within reach for Blackburn. Roque santa cruz scored the opener for Rovers in the 1st half only for Carlos Tevez to get an 88th min equalizer. I thought the display last week againsy Boro was rubbish but the 1st half yesterday was by far the worst performance of the season. Players must of been thinking to much about wednesday game against Barcelona.

I was waiting whole night on TV for this result, and finally saw it in a news report on the internet. I was expecting United to win this to be that much closer to the title. Luckily Tevez saved the day for United with his late equalizer. According to Ferguson, United played well in the second half to come back. Well, despite this little setback, I still feel the title for the EPL season will still go to United, because it will be tough for Chelsea to win all their matches and expect United to drop at least six points in these last four games. If United wins against Chelsea next, the title will be a foregone thing.

They played ok at best. Ronaldo hit the post and Brad Friedel was making some amazing saves. It is ironic that it was Friedel who helped United get the equaliser as Tevez was standing on the line for a corner, the ball got whipped in and Friedel pushed Tevez out of the way. Scholes heads it in goalwards and Tevez was right there to nod it in.
If we win against Chelsea it is still mathmatically possible for Chelsea to win the league. We would have to loose the 2 remaining games and Chelsea would have to overturn a 18 (I think) goal difference. Possible but you never know.

If Man U loses to Chelsea, it will certainly open the floodgate for Chelsea to launch a new assault for the title, and raise their hopes much more. Then all that United fans can nervously hope is that their favorite team will not bungle in the last two games when the title is really there for them to claim. I doubt though if Chelsea has any chance to win on goal difference if the scores should be tied at the end of the season. At this level of play, it will take a miracle for a team to score many goals in successive matches to overturn the odds.
