How have myLot affected your life?

I have been only here in myLot bare just 2 months and it ahs contributed a lot in my life.
At first I was here just to earn additional money but then I found myself to be engrossed and involved with many of the discussions that I found myself enjoying more and more each day. I found a lot of things that I didn't realize myLot would bring me. Firstly, the friends I have gained which I have seen to be true by the way they answer to post. Secondly, even if it was not my post, I am learning a lot on the advises and how people are dealing with the issues in their life as well as advises to my personal life as well. This has become an outlet also for those who don't have much to talk to and at some point, want to have company and be at ease with it. It was also a good thing to spend my free time besides learning a great deal of various things. Well, lastly, the reward for all of that is the earnings-- its the cherry on top of the ice cream as I can describe it.
So how have myLot affected your life?

I find it as my best outlet where I can express everything by responding to the different topic posted! I feel like I am just in a group of friends conversing with each other and truly an awesome way to ease my boredom now that I am still a full time wife! I can't imagine a day without checking here, it's been part already of my daily routine and I hope everyone will just stay and keep on posting! Cheers!

Ohh...we are in the same situation! I also can't imagine how will I overcome being alone if I was not invited here in Mylot! Have a great time!

Its really great being here in myLOt and just as you said, it is a medium wherein you can vent out your feelings and reach out to others. Like you I am also a stay home mom for the meantime and it gets me through the day and helps out a lot.

well, i enjoy all of mylot contribution you just mentioned. here i "meet" a lot of kind people and somehow i can feel the strange closeness with them. here i can talk about anything that i can't talk about to "physical" friends of mine.

I don't know if it really has changed my life except giving me more experiences with people from around the world. I've learned a lot about other people here, too. I feel that it helps to have a place to talk about things because people in real life really don't want to talk or don't have time to sit down and have a real conversation. I also learn about news stories that I wouldn't have known about if it wasn't for being here.

Hi Darlene. Its really a great site wherein I also get to learn other people and form their experiences and yes, I agree with you that people can speak more openly here than in real life and don't have much time to make that conversation. The news that other mylotters post here are also a learning for me and its great as I seldom watch news or even search for them.

I think it has changed my life. All the things I have thought about I can now discuss with other people, in a way I have not been able to do before.
I too have learned a lot more about life and the lives people live in different parts of the world.
I agree with you that there is a lot of good advice given and received at myLot. I have seen people write that they feel low or depressed or unwell, and they have had so much warmth and encouragement from other members it has made them feel much better.

Yes truly I feel that myLot has become a great community in meeting and discussion with people everyday and in any issue that you have. Its great having practice freedom of speech here having no inhibitions on what you will say and listening to what others will say also.

You are right there Mooch in saying that its a free site hosting to have this forum. Also I agree with you that it is a good therapy for a lot of people her to vent out what ever they have in their life and get to talk to real people.

MYLOT real change my life,although i join MYLOT only less a month,but its real change my life!
Every day turns on my computer,i do the first matter is debarkation MYLOT,examined my earning in the yesterday.i read my friends's posts,or attended people's discussion,this was an extremely joyful thing!
I already can't leave the mylot persent,it already was a part which i lived!

Hell gabrielle,
I am fairly new here to myLot. Even for the amount of time I've been here, I feel that I will be here for a very long time. The discussions are thought provoking, the people are friendly, and the website is easy to navigate.
My experience so far has been great. I don't have anything negative to say about myLot; everything has been more than I expected. Like you said, the additional money is like the cherry on top of the ice cream.

I know what you are saying. At first I was only here for a few extra bucks myself, but then I met a lot of really great people on here from around the world, and I got the opportuinty to participate in some extremely interesting discussions.

nice question my friend. it affect my life much. i spend almost all my time here if am not on my work. i love the discussions and i learned some good advices that i felt it's true. the friendship i gain while i am here. It improve my speaking ability because i am not english speaker and my typing skills plus the bunos of earning.

now i'm confused whether i should spend so much time on mylot every day coz it rather consumes my time.

I can see it perfectly that you are addicted to myLot like me. We have a little time difference and its past 1am here and still posting responses as well here in myLot. The important thing to answer your question is whether you are enjoying in what you do here in myLot and other things in your life is not so much affected, then continue with myLot. As I say if you are happy with what you are doing, continue doing it!

Mylot has really effected me in the past 2 months of me being here as well. I can't get enough of the place, although I have been fairly inactive for the past couple of days. I need to catch up on some past discussions that started within the past few days. I love the fact that I can express myself, and other people here really listen and can give great advice. Also, the earnings are great too, because they help me to pay some bills that I need to get paid off. I love mylot, and am here to stay.

yep,I just in mylot for a month.But i have trully crazy for it.I feel not come here one day.
On this platform I have met a lot of mylotters from different parts of the world. I learn a lot of things from them,about their customs their culture,even their life style.Before these learnings we all gained for the books,but now it is a real instance,so I learned more and have deeper impressives.
Sometimes I even can feel the difference thought about a topic.And I also introduced our country to them.I feel honor about this.
The most important thing is my English making great progress.I feel comfort and smooth to contact with the foreigners.

hon I have been around internet communities with great friendship bases for years, this site is different in that it pays though some others do as well. It is a good site so are many others. The reason I am here is because of the money first because I honestly badly need it and I have made some wonderful friends here too that goes beyond a name on a friends list,

I met a lot of people here. I found that there were also people here who take things the wrong way and that if you do not agree with them, they rant and rave. I found people here who were nice and able to help me with resolving my past. I found about what others were going through, poverty, abused, etc. I found that if you talk to someone who does not know your street address or telephone number, you can tell them more and find out ways to deal with it. I got practice for my writing and that made my novel writing easier. I got advice, I gave advice, and that is just the top of the iceberg as they say.

I don't know if its affected my life, maybe it has. I like reading the conversations, some are fire starters and some, like me, are looking for some help on a certain task or issue. Getting paid is okay, it shows that your life experience is worth something, but I wouldn't base what I know on what I earn, it would surely have a comma in there somewhere. Meeting new people here is different, they seem to be more grounded. Even if they are faking it, and that won't last long. I'd say it has enriched my life more than its affected it.
