The MORE you get, the MORE you give !!! Am I right ??

This is what I mean: Suppose on a day, you find that your mylot earnings has made a BIG jump compared to the previous day, or your star rating made it to the next level.. Then you feel very happy and you contribute more by starting more responses and responding and commenting more, ending up with a higher earning next day!! But if you see that you made less money than what you expected, or your star rating just plummeted.. Then the exact opposite happens.. You hardly do anything in mylot that day.. Isn't that so?? That has been my case, and I experience the same everyday!!

I agree, for the most part I have done slightly better each day till my peak at 1.25 then it went slightly down each day ... now it's going back up again. My day yesterday was a lot better than I expected so I am hoping today will be even better.

This isn't so for me. I participate on MyLot according to how much time I have to spend on it. If I don't have anything going on that day, then I spend more time on here. If I find something interesting, I participate in the discussion also. I really don't pay any attention to the rating star or the money for that matter. I figure I will make it to payout eventually and I just don't worry about it.

Well sometimes that happens to me, Very seldom though.. I don't really look at the earnings.. Umm yesterday I made nothing lol Because I didn't even bother coming to mylot.. I had alot to do and what not.. However today I do have alot of different e-mails I want to look threw and see if any of them interest me and than I will reply to them.. Like this one.. Every day is different, but if I do look at my earnings every day is different for sure!

yeah, thats kinda true, i feel discouraged to post if my earnings went down as compared to before. regarding my star rating, i really dont care if my rating goes down but i noticed that my earnings are being affected. just because those guys dont agree with what i say or im talking negatively about something, it should not merit a negative rating. after all, this is a free world, we can say anything we want to say as long as its within the recognized boundaries.

I think that sometimes if that happens then it does make me think that it is not worth my time or effort to keep contributing here. The star rating is not an issue, I am not bothered about that, but sometimes I work really hard and seem to get little for it and that makes me slow down a bit!! I could not stop coming here and posting altogether though as I have made a group of lovely friends and I love coming on here.

well it is not so much of a problem for me I really could care less about star ratings me being here is more about the money and if I didn't earn as much as I thought I should then I would just do more work the next day.

I think you are right. I know when I see my earnings go up I feel like "hey this is really working" and get busy. Its kind of like going on a diet. When I start seeing results its great motivation to keep it up.

A lot depends on my mood from day to day. There aer days when I can spend all day typing away on here and then the following day see my earnings have not exactly jumped up. Other times I can only spare a little time here yet the numbers leap. It doesn't make sense to me anymore and now I just enjoy my time here and hope that I can make enough for payout date.

good luck - good luck to you
My earnings do not really affect how I post. It depends on the available time I have to do myLot activities. It also depends on how much discussions are available for me to respond to. I mean, there may be a lot of discussions available but I only respond to those that I am interested in or those that I have ideas or opinions on. You see, if I were to base my daily myLot activities on how much I get daily, I am sure that I wouldn't last for ten minutes here. Do not let your earnings discourage you my friend. Instead, treat it as a challenge.

I don`t agree with you at all. It is better to veverse the sentence. "The More you give, the More you get" is may be right. When doing anything,we shouldn`t just purse the benefit. For example, when you want to help a person ,do you just want the rewards?? Or you don`t want to give you help at all. The star rating is just a void thing . Even if you get the top star rating ,what you will do? In my opinion it just show one`s amour-propre.That`s ok if you are happy here!!

The time i spend here revolves around what else is happing that day. A little extra money is nice. but since i have no idea what the stars and stuff mean it is a non-issue. When it is no longer fun i'll quit and that will be that.

not really... i can only spend my time here whenever i am free... i work full-time outside and i don't really have much time to spend here... yes, i feel happy when i see my earnings boost... but i can't spend more time here to do more as i have very limited time...

not at all, I am one of the highest raters here on this site and the only way that can happen is hard work every day, set a goal for yourself and try to make then beat it, that is the way to do continually well on this site.

In someways I do agree. At least the part of the more you get the more you are to give, especially when you first join up at mylot. When you see how much you earn for what ever you did and then the next day you do a bit more and see how much more you earn it can feed into it. For myself though if I see I earned less I usually want to try harder. Make sure my responses are longer or that I do more of them for example. I haven't had the problem with the star rating plummeting so that I cannot say on. Now though it's just by how much time I have. I do try to do a minimum number of responses but if I can't make more so be it. I used to try and do a lot every day and I ended up burning out so now I just do what I can and enjoy it.

It is always a good feeling when the star rating goes up to another level, increase in earnings and discussions become top/hot discussion or received many responses. Of course, when the opposite happens, anyone can feel the pinch. I will be a little bit disappointed if any of these happened to me, especially if my star rating goes down. But it will not deter me from participating actively in mylot.

Yea,I agree that in a way,you are right in saying that. Its all about confidence and happiness. When the earnings are above than expected, then it provides the required motivation to post much more. And at the same time, similarly,if your earnings are less, then you also post less in mylot, that day. So,the key to earn in mylot is to enjoy your time in mylot and not to concentrate too much on the earnings. Cheers! Have a nice day Happy mylotting and happy earning

I'll have trouble giving a good answer to this one. I'm still a real newbie and haven't figured out much yet.
